Thanks, but I'm using MacOSX, so I'm always rooting by hand.. Do you know a tool that is doing that and runs in MacOSX?

... I have only this one SBF (BL7) which works.. give me a working SBF and I will try it.

When I go to custom recovery:
E:Can't mount dev/block/mmcblk1p24
(Invalid argument)
E:Can't mount Cache:recovery/command
E:Can't mount dev/block/mmcblk1p24
(Invalid argument)
E:Can't mount Cache:recovery/log
E:Can't open Cache:recovery/log
E:Can't mount dev/block/mmcblk1p24
(Invalid argument)

so I can't make a clean wipe anymore.. what can I do??
Go to stock recovery make a full wipe and flash your SBF again.

No logcat

I used latest quarx 2nd boot to port MIUI JB, my issue is i am not able to get the logcat using adb. I tried adding 2nd boot menu to older version(2nd init) it boots fine but doesn't detect sim card. Anyway to get logcat working via adb??

ur don't have to flash the kernel, it's already there we start custom kernel from image it don't overwrites ur previous kernel.

and the easiest way is the defy ultimate wipe what full wipes ur defy, just install that zip and install ur non 2nd boot build and that's it.

but if u had data partition formate to ext4 revert it to ext3 before u begins with flashing ultimate wipe zip.

and if u wait some time maybe Blechd0se's Custom kernel can boot CM7 also with 2nd boot.

Full wipe and flashing froyo kernel with CM7 didn't work. Stuck in boot logo.

Also then I installed WIUI the rom showed 0.00 MB of internal memory and crashed after ram got full.

It is possible somehow revert these changes? I would like to use WIUI again.

EDIT: Didn't read CM10 thread carefully, so I asked for what was solved before. Anyway it is possible to go back to old builds?

Enable All modules in Bootmenu .. HOW ???

Hi guys .. i have posted in [SUPPORT] Quarx's CM10 PROBLEMS reporting thread lots of time but no fix yet for me ..

really desperate to find a way to ENABLE ALL MODULES in Bootmenu--->cpu settings/ (when running the new 2nd type builds)

but the option is missing in boot menu when running the custom kernel.. my data connection will never work right if it is not enable ansd also my cpu governor should be Conservative otherwise kaput

my defy works well on 24.09 .. its just the 2nd boot thing that does not have this option ..

please anyone help ...

sorry again

I found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ghlight=module

1st Post say something like this:

Update: 2ndboot module sources are here: https://github.com/czechop/2ndboot

I've been on the website .. but i cannot figure out how to use this ... or is it meant to be used ???

Any ideas Welcome
