Before I had to recharge the phone twice a day. I only use 3G and I think Google's location function drains battery, since it always sends data according to its agreement question.

Now I'm getting much better battery life after installing Shutupbattery saver. I set it to turn on autosync for 10 minutes every 5 hours.
Maybe it's also the 3.4.3 ROM, I don't know for sure.

edit:
It seems Morzedroid sent a lot of data.

You can install Powertutor from the market to track which apps cosumes battery.

As a rule, besides LCD usage, the more 3g sync you have on (email, facebook, twitter, etc) you have, the faster the battery will go. It is not bad, it is just the price we pay for being "always connected". If you are a heavy user with constant sync+ listening to music+some GPS... one day of battery is maximum you can dream on any platform

In my case I had 3g sync on calendar, contacts and Yahoo mail app on push mail. Battery lasted on day (18h) with above config, 20 min phone calls, 1 hour browsing, 1 other usage). Usually I ha some 20-30% at the end of the day so I recharged
I checked with powertutor and to my surprise yahoo mail app used a lot of battery, probably due to push email
I switched to stock email (with sync every hour, no push mail)and now the battery lasts 2 days on the same usage.

I also have a poor battery life on stock rom, 2.1.

Charged last night, and now, at 22PM it`s completly drained.

That`s life on a smartphone. :)

hi priyansh17 and the rest of th guys posting here...
I had the same problem... bought my phone from Mumbai india official and updated the OS to froyo.... first the signal wasnt proper and kept going into emergency mode....
So then I installed the SEA (south east asia) baseband fix from this site only... the 900 / 2100 one.... and the battery life was horrible!!!!! 4 - 6 hours tops!!!
I tried everything from downgrading to 2.1 to installing service roms....
Finally I found a solution...i installed the finland 2.2 froyo rom.... phone was smooth but signal issues... and then I saw my own phones box and it had written on it 900 /2100... which is the chinese freqencies.... so I loaded the chinese 900 / 2100 update and now I get 12-14 hours battery life and froyo smoothness... cant be happier.... :D
Hope my nerve wracking experience helps others! :)

Let me tell you why battery drain on 2.1 and 2.2 is not different. We are just changing OS which DOESN'T affect the hardware unless overclocked.

Another thing i want to mention is that jboogie's roms are much much faster then other chinese or pays's roms because they run less services which basically uses less battery and to be honest, i had the longest life with jboogie's blurless ginger...

i was working on a trade fair from wednesday til friday (so not using the phone much, few emails/texts/calls per day, little browsing) and the battery lasted roughly 80h to 10%.

gud to here that...where did you find that chinese fix....i posted one fix for SEA roms...900-1800...

but r u sure 900-2100 works well in India.....it surely will increase the battery life..but the network becomes horrible.......

i would compromise on battery life but cant afford to have broken and frequently failed calls..

also plz check again china has freq of 850-2100....
