Is there any clean ROM (without Google stuff) for A12 that got automatic updates? In these times it feels unsafe to not have an upgraded system. I do not care about the KNOX bit.

Nope. Just use rooted stock rom to remove bloatware.

How about any ROM that makes it easy to manually update without losing all data and apps?
