Does this work with Oxygen ROM? I flashed it successfully but under Battery use, display still takes up the most % (66%).
if the oxygen uses stock there must be something else. Try to don't use battery percentage. it's just about advance launcher with cm7.

Am I supposed to flash this through CWM? I flashed CyanogenMod 7.1 RC and this launcher, but display still takes up most of the battery and I don't see much difference.

Am I doing something wrong? I would really love to use this for battery savings. Please help me out! :D

it's about that android system drains battery depending on ADW launcher.
I'm using and my phone lasts 3 day with 2hour music play per day. If you still suffer from that android system drains too much. Close the battery mode which show the stat with %.
Thanks.
Edit: if you have something with display don't use auto brightness. if you can use it with %8 it will not drain so much also try to use black theme. That's what i've got about to suggest.

Any one can use it.Thanks for frank707 and Jonathon Grigg for their help.
Just got a Nexus S from Best Buy. Rooted installed CM7 nightly build 152 and just want to know can I install this darklauncher? From what gather here, it saves battery life? Also seems that this will remove the ADW from CM7 which will great don't really like ADW.

My next goal is to search which modem radio I can install on my Nexus S on AT&T. It has KE1 and i have seen others with I9020T use the KD1, but no one has responded whether it can be used without any weird things happening, like some losing 3G and not been able to get that back.

I have
2.3.5
I9020AUCKE1 Baseband
2.6.35.7-ge382d80 Kernel
CyanogenMod 7-08032011-Nightly-NS Mod Version
GRJ90 Build Number

OK thanks. Seems that the KB3 radio is working really good for me on AT&T. I haven't applied the build.prop file and will apply your Dark Launcher 2 which I will be doing in a bit.

hrm I really don't get how that little bit of lighter grey background would make battery consumption of system spike like that...
or are there other modifications?

Because I'm looking for something to replace UD launcher with because that one doesn't seem to be in active development anymore. btw: how up-to-date is this compared to stock launcher?

ADW drains some how battery so i use this. it's same as stock but little dark. You can try anything instead of ADW launcher.
