deleted emails keep coming back

I use the stock corporate email account (ICS). For a while now deleted emails keep magically coming back, driving me nuts. Did a google search and it seems other people with different devices on Android have had similar problems. Anybody know of a fix?

I don't know if there is a fix for the stock email client app, I've had that problem since I started carrying my d1 back in Nov of 2009.

I switched to using K9 Mail for my email and don't have the problem anymore so I just quit using the stock app.

I think a lot of this depends on what type of account as in pop3, imap or exhange. I have a biz imap account that works better now that on GB. Mine would never sync right over network only on wifi before ics. So you may want to look into how you are set-up.
