Ive been using download blazer and utorrent pro for all my downloads so I figured I nolonger need "download manager" system apk. So I deleted it.
Then I went to update a user app and my playstore has no connectivity....

Is there a way to find and install download manager apk " or should I just flash the NC5 again?

This is the download apk I dont think this is the one. It had a sproket icon and it said "download manager" I think it is an app store specific system apk. I dont know why I deleted it but when I went to troubleshoot the play store glitch. One on the things it says is to check the "download manager" and I think I need to start fresh.

Hmm I'm not seeing it. You could always just unpack nc5 and figure out what what you're missing so you dont have to start fresh. Well good luck.

Do you have secdownloadprovider.apk? in system/priv-app

Yeah thanks I installed it but how do I unpack the nc5? Would I use androzip or is there a better file extractor?

I do it on my pc with winrar. then there will be a system.img.ext4 you could mount it to a directory on your phone from command line or do it on pc with any of the various ext4 tools out there.

ext4_unpacker is a good one for pc. Not sure who wrote it though.
