Good rom, but missing touch sensitivity, and
the phone is in vibrate mode and the s music goes on, and if someone calls, the music doesn't stop.

Galaxy S9(+)

I need some quick advice on upgrading to a Samsung Galaxy phone. My wife's Nexus 5X crapped out today. I took the back apart and found that the battery has puffed up some, meaning it expanded, and the phone is inoperative. I can fix the phone by putting in a new battery, but we're in a big hurry and she wants to upgrade anyway. I've talked her into choosing a Samsung Galaxy product. The question is which one?

She doesn't like super big phones but says my Note 8 phone is okay sized and doesn't want bigger or too much bigger. What do you guys recommend? Would you recommend she go with a Note 8, S9, S9+ or Note 9? The Note 10 is out of the question, because it costs too much money, according to her. Whatever it is, I want the F series so I can root it and possibly install a custom ROM. She's not into custom ROMing, but I could get her into it.

I know this is off topic, but you guys are the best source of info out there. Maybe I'll put DeluxeROM on it. Now it's on topic.

Go for the s9+. New it's pretty cheap now. And you'll get Android 10 from Samsung when it comes out

Everything went seamless without wipes from v18.2. Haven't found any problems yet.

Common advice is first do a back up just in case. As most of you know, it's easy with TWRP.
