Hi Andi,

I just wanted to test the new espressowifi builds and can confirm that the charging issue persists ...

when the tablet is connected to AC the status bar indicates charging but no indication of charging in Settings (Battery) and the battery capacity does not increase.

I'm sure you are aware of this (and probably still working on the issue) ... I grabbed the logs (just in case they may be some use to you).

I am happy to report that my tablet is now charging!

Charging on AC is reported in Settings (Battery) when tablet is connected to AC (as well as the Battery icon on the Status bar).

Battery problems

Boa Tarde.

I’ve installed the last build and at first everything seemed to be working properly. Lately I’ve noticed that the tablet discharge faster than usual and requires a lot of time to recharge. I don’t know if it is a battery or a system issue. So far that is the only problem that I have.

1.What is overclocking? How do i do it? Teach me please.
2. What's the use of CM kernel blah blah? Why do people sometimes flash it separately from CM 12.1 12 13 etc?

My device is GT-p5100. Rom is CM 12.1 20160323 (Andi) With Delta Gapps.

(i prefer installing cm 12.1 than cm 13 of andi, bec i can have the option "Battery Mode" ) pls inform if it is present in cm 13. thank you.:good::laugh::laugh:

1. OC isn't possible on my CM builds and imo OC isn't needed (will be removed from my other builds in future too).

2. The kernel is the heart of your device. Atm we are reworking our kernel and some updates/fixes are applied there only. In this case it is easier to flash 8MB kernel instead downloading 250MB rom

3. Taking about battery safer?

Anyone have issues with multi touch? I must turn off and on my tablet 7 times in games (Exactly 7) to get multi-touch to activate and say I put my device to sleep come back hours later, or I reboot? I must do it again. I noticed this issue starts CM11 and Up but the game I play(World of Tanks Blitz) doesnt support CM10 so I cannot get it to work that way.

Open GApps should work, however, I use GApps by @Deltadroid as indicated in post #2 of this thread ...

It looks like you've found the latest TWRP and CM 12.1 ROM for your device, but you might want to use a more recent version of gapps ...

I'd stick to 12.1 if I were you. Sounds like there's still bugs to be worked out of cm13 still. Not as stable.

Yup. I would stay on 12.1 as well.

I recently came back from having to wait for the weird battery drain bug in earlier releases to be crushed. It has been and 12.1 on my P5113 has been just awesome. Everything is so incredibly smooth for how old the hardware is. Battery life is at least as good as when I was on CM 10.3 official.
