You guys planning to install the miui cam for note 10?
Note 10 pro and max have the miui cam built in it hence asking about note 10 too.

As of right now he ANX camera project isn't at works. The developers don't have plans on neither stopping nor updating devices.
GCAM is the better option as of right now. Here's the best one I've found so far.

The only things you need to configure are the auxiliary cameras as they aren't mapped by default. You can do that in the advanced settings, map it with the proper ID and name.




If you want to use ANX camera, some features won't work. Refer to this post for the detailed steps to get it working. Btw this was tested on A12. So can't speak for A13 or other ROMS / Versions.

If you use gcam by Shamim you get all 3 lenses working (if you configure them), slow mo working (at least 4x) and EIS. 48 Mpx mode or more fps slow mo are not there. ANX/MIUI camera doesn't work on this rom (reliably). Best you can do, is try it yourself.

I know i am pretty late but if you use 32781(Video EIS) in the video stream configuration EIS will work on main and uw cameras.

PixelOS Recovery is recommended if you want to stay encrypted, no custom recovery supports encryption on Android12, i.e. you won't be able to decrypt your data.

Flashing Instructions

Keep in mind...​

This ROM comes with EROFS formatting, due to which:

• Avoid Changing Kernel (unless it supports EROFS)
• System is Read-Only (restricts making changes to overlays, system APKs, etc.)
• Avoid using any other recovery than PixelOS recovery which is included (If you wish to use, check for EROFS compatibility)
• YOU MUST CLEAN FLASH IF:
  • You are coming from any other ROM or MIUI
  • You are coming from May 2022 Update or before

Clean flash (coming from a different ROM):
• Download ROM from the link above
• Download Magisk v23.0 or newer (optionally)
• Reboot to recovery
• Format data
• Flash latest android 12 Global stable firmware (link above)
• Flash ROM zip
• Reboot and voila!
• To get root access, reboot to recovery after ROM setup and flash Magisk.

Updating to a newer build (dirty flash):
• Flash ROM zip and Magisk (optional)
• Reboot and voila!

There is only one problem that i faced. The overall sound as ringtone volume was noticeably low. The rom is perfect in all other aspects.

Major problems I encountered on the 13 version: Google play books when you activate text to speech, the voice pause, close, play book restart. And the memory manager it's crap. Almost equal the miui memory manager. If you switch to other app, it's almost certainly that the app in background will be closed. That's annoying

Yes, the ram management is pretty bad on A13. If you want better, ram management and battery backup and better app performance (in general; differs from app to app) then I suggest downgrading back to A12.1. It's much more stable and is pretty much an upgrade from A13 if you don't mind loosing a few minor features.

the problem with A12 is that some programs that I use don't work and have no more support by the developers :/

Thank you. Only one issue here, my mobile banking isn't working. It was okay in pixel experience. I don't have root/magisk installed. Probably caused by the kernel I guess..

Yes it's weird. It's my local bank in Indonesia named Mandiri. I tested another local bank apps such BCA, BRI, is working flawlessly.
Edit: Another problem found. Flash in camera app not working.
Edit 2: I installed magisk delta with magisk hide and Enforce SuList turned on, the bank apps is working now. Really weird.

I am so surprised that how bad application background rention is. It's not that Ram is full, it's just that the OS kills that application whenever it goes in background.

Android 12 was so good, I don't know how we went backward in this department.

Yeah, on the 13 background retention is crap. And to login in some apps I have trouble because of this haha. I switch app to see login code and system close the other app.
