I will chime in with saying that I am quite satisfied with my TF300 and that it is to be expected that those with problems will be vocal about them. I find the information useful/interesting. Just because I don't have the issue today doesn't mean I won't need a solution in the future.

I have tried with a tablet running 3.2 (Lenovo K1) and with the TF300 to move apps to the microsd card. I read info that indicates it won't work because of Android but the developer of APP2SD emailed me that it is a limitation imposed by the hardware supplier. So I am confused but think 32 gigs of internal memory will probably be enough for apps.

I dont believe it is the hardware supplier, it has to do with ICS on all products with 4.0.

Enjoying it more each day. Getting it more and more set up to meet my specific needs. Reminds me why I love Android. And it may be petty, but I'm getting a kick out of people gushing over my TF300, particularly when I take it off the dock and they realize it's not a netbook.

It took me a week to decide whether to pick up a tablet (my first one!). I just wasn't sure whether I actually needed one; I'd gone from a second-generation EEE PC back to a more common notebook form factor because the cramped size annoyed me too much, and while I love my Nexus S, I wasn't sure what I would do with a tablet.

Now that I have it I feel it might become some sort of day-to-day replacement for my notebook, in that if I don't need heavy duty power I bring it instead. The weight difference and practicality for reading notes and the likes is amazing. I really like being able to read big PDFs naturally by using it in portrait, where it's big enough for text to be legible.

I also realized that this'll probably be a very nice GPS device, what with the very responsive CPU and large screen. On top of that, the bundled office suite lets me do some light spreadsheet work and fairly heavy word processing work without any issue.

Most of all, though, I've installed a bunch of games and emulators and am now enjoying it as an all-around gaming machine. It might not have the power of my laptop, but it's lighter and has a bigger battery, which means it's a very attractive alternative to my old PSP and even to the PS Vita and 3DS.

Overall I couldn't be more pleased with how the device turned out. The build feels solid, the screen is gorgeous, the layout's excellent (though I wish the power button was elsewhere), the hardware seems impossible to slow down no matter what I'm throwing at it... All it needs is more games designed for tablets as opposed to virtual joystick crap.

Keep in mind, if you do use the tablet as a GPS device, be prepared to download all map data you need before you leave or tether the tablet to a smartphone while navigating. Navigation won't work without map data.

Oh I'm well aware. Trying out Route 66 as an offline map, though I may also just tether with my phone or plan the route ahead. The current Google Maps app saves the entire route when you plan one, so I can just use Wi-Fi at home to load it initially.

Had a prime. Broke it within 2 weeks(fell of the desk). One of the best differences, outside wifi/bluetooth, is the charger port on the tablet. The Prime had all these little "teeth" that bent all which way and caused more problems than not. Mine bent all to hell when it fell. No "teeth" to bend all which ways on the TF300.

I was planning to hold out for the 700, but finding out it will cost more than the 300+dock combined, the decision was easy.

No issues here, though, my use is much more basic. I doubt I will even use a sd card on this. But, we'll see...

I think a lot of people are jumping on the same bandwagon from the Prime's crazy problems.
those problems really dont apply here and I'm totally happy with my tab.
I just received mine yesterday through fedex after winning one of the Nvidia Tegrazone prize pack contests from Phandroid.
It showed up in great condition, I loaded it up with some games, music and ill probably load some anime on here too before long.
Anyways today I unplugged the tablet at about 8 am with it connected to the dock, used it off and on throughout the day checking xda, pulse news and such and all of it was extremely fluid and no lag was apparent any time during the day. eventually the dock died and i kept it plugged in because for about an hour or an hour and a half i was playing a bunch of the Tegra optimised games with a wireless controller, at full brightness. Once i was done with that I unplugged the dock and used it to show off some of the coolest features to my grandparents who had never seen a tablet before (they thought google streetview was awesome) and have continued to use it on and off for the rest of the evening until now at around 11:15 pm where it has finally dipped down into the 'red' portion of the battery at around 15%. So in total, I checked news feeds, social networks and xda all day long, streamed bluetooth music for about 30 minutes, had about an hour and a half long gaming session with a wireless controller at full brightness, and used gps and wifi all day to show off the tablet.
Its been about 15 and a 1/4 hours without a charge and this thing is still going! this thing has blown my wildest expectations away, super fluid, no lag, snappy, extremely battery effiecient.
THIS THING IS AMAZING.
if youre considering this tablet then dont hesitate its totally worth it.
Also this thing has insane wifi connection strength, it connected to a wimpy sprint Mifi at about 45 feet away through various walls.
no signal strength issues here.

Yeah, and if youre into using custom ROMs anyways the faster proc on the 700 doesnt make a difference, just OC the TF300.

also, if you had the 32gb TF300 to start with and then added a 64gb microsd and then an 128gb SD then youd have 224gb of space! think of all the Game of Thrones you could fit on that >:p
