I am very interested in this.
But currently I have no Galaxy Tab S2. I am looking into buying one...

I have three questions:
If I install this, is it easy to revert the changes (just in case)?
Is it possible to flash a new rom / kernel (or stock rom) without problems?
Does flashing a new rom override this?

-Reverting the partition changes will cause a factory reset type loss (Read: clean slate).
- Android won't care about the system files, we don't touch those. Android has no idea it is in a jail. A new kernel though needs to be modified (1 minute of work).

Got 2 testers

2 people got a hold of me so... I will rework my scripts and see what I can do. As of now the install script only gets half done and then you have to manually do some formatting and copying. I also am going to make sure anyone can go back to stock, both with the current partitioning and full stock (e.g. take an OTA, sell the tablet, etc).
Wish me luck. :silly:

So far reverting the partition changes by reflashing stock haven't worked. I got the newest firmware and it flashed fine back to stock but left my other partitions (and data) intact... It is going to be tough to test on my device if I can't revert back to "new". I haven't tried checking the re-partition box in Odin because I haven't found any info on it...
So, this leaves reverting via another recovery script. I'm sure it will work but that is not the best way...

Flash the stock firmware with the relevant pit file and select repartition. This should put the partitions back to stock.

Partition restore successful

Restoring partitions was successful with no loss of data! It will be possible to revert to stock as needed... I'm now moving on to the installers...

oh,well.... Partitioning still corrupts the data partition when installing and requires reinstalling the stock recovery temporarily to fix it.
On the bright side, my Android script does it' s job correctly! So the formatting and install of a rootfs and kernel are a breeze...
I can't release this until I figure a way to stop the corruption. Probably will mean a data wipe before install. I'm taking time off for life and to regroup myself.

Parting gift...

One last present.... See here for a working Arch-AoL MircoSD rootfs.... Just extract it to the ext4 partition of the MicroSD on PC as root (Step 1 from OP)
Code:
EXTRACT:
su
cd root of sdcard or disk
tar -xpzvf /directory-not-in-sdcard/rootfs.tar.gz .
sync
remove card
and install the modified kernel (Step 3 from OP).
