OK, I installed ep3's 0405 nightly build again, only MBM1.42 was installed.
It still can't create vfs, here's the logcat about it...
Thanks for the error log, it was helpful, i found the culprit.

Also, Gingerbread still spelled Gingerbeard, and Picachu should be spelled Pikachu. Other than that, the only thing I noticed was that the Changelog\Help in
BTW, I'm not complaining or anything. Just trying to provide helpful feedback for minor issues.
I really appreciate the bug report, please do continue reporting bugs. I may not be able to find all bugs by myself.

Change log version 1.42a

I don't get it...
I'm using ics (epsylon) as main system.
I've tried to flash on virtual the folowing roms
Ms2ginger
WajkIUI
Cm7.2

But none of theme works! All I see is black screen...
The only one that is working is cm9 (the same one that I already have as my real system).

Please advise...

Bear in mind that virtual system should have the same kernel as your nand system. So if you want to install on virtual i.e. CM7 you have to flash afterwards froyo kernel. You can find it in earlier posts in threed...

I would also be interested in having stock Froyo as one of the vfs like aribis.

Thanks to royale1223 and joydeep.

I noticed that it is not necessary to have only zip image of your ROM for vfs restore. I successfully used nandroid backup of my CM9 nightly (17-06-2012) via Backup and Restore option. I did not wipe anything as it was first install to the vfs I created for CM9. It went thru OK. Later I downloaded the CM9 nightly 24-06-2012 and gapps 29-06-2012 and after booting to vfs CM9 which I installed earlier did a zip install of both. It went thru very well. My base ROM is GGL and the only vfs I use as of now CM9.

But I could not succeed with Stock Froyo green lens.

After trying Boot Manager Lite unsuccessfully on few gadgets I found MultiBootManager to be extremely useful in checking out ROMs without disturbing one's base ROM. Of course the idea of trying nandroid on MBM came from Boot Manager Lite. Others also could have done it but I did not get to see any post on nandroid restore on MBM.

Great work.

Thanks aribis, I saw your post of increasing sys img size to 500mb for stock froyo vfs and nand restore on mbm. Was trying with 350. Let me try now with 500.

That worked but rather very slow. May be it needs a high speed sdcard like type 6 or above.

Thanks guys.

Nobody discuss restoring nandroid backups these days. This is probably because restore nandroid feature was there when Micha released multiboot 0.1 months back. However running froyo as VS is a pretty new topic is being discussed in multiboot thread now.

Guys, let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm a medical student from India and I'm obsessed with coding. The only reason I kept developing Vibhinna is because I wanted to learn java and Android programming. Now that I've accomplished that, the only thing that keeps me developing more is your feedback. I don't care if you hit the thanks button or not. I just want to know what you think about my work. It can be positive or negative. I'm all ears as long as it is feedback.
