Dev Edition on Simple Mobile: "Disconnected because service is unavailable"

Hello,

I bought a HTC One Developer Edition, and I purchased a Simple Mobile SIM (which uses T-Mobile's infrastructure) with an unlimited data plan.
The phone gets good reception and I can make and receive calls.

The problem is when I try to connect the mobile data and it says "Disconnected because service is unavailable".
I have tried several APN settings, from the one in simple mobile's webpage to some T-Mobile settings I've seen here, but always with no success.

I always reboot the phone when I change the APN settings..

What am I doing wrong?

What chances are there that this is a faulty unit?
The phone seems flawless otherwise..

Faulty unit ? Nope.

Something wrong on simple mobile. Yes
Contact them or Google it.
