It's not a Rom, but a mod! you have to install leaked Gingerbread rom, or customized, and apply this modification. If you want a screenshot go in GB leaked rom thread.
Did-you try to flash a fixed froyo sbf ? and next install cm7anyone tried to go back to CM7 from this? I flashed this ROM all was well and I decided to go back to CM7. Now it reboots at the red Moto logo. I tried wiping everything (+dalvik) and it doesn't work. I can go back to Nordic Froyo, but when i reboot after CM7 install I get the blue 2nd init led then it flashes green and reboots.
On my side to be quiet I flashed fixed 3.4.2-164 french retail.

thanks i have been waiting for a reply from you, and now that it seems to be working i will flash tonight when i get home.
So after a day I am really happy with this ROM/MOD. I really liked it the first time I tested, but didn't keep it for more than a few hours since I couldn't use the camera. With the mod I am truly able to enjoy it. I do miss a few things from CM7, but mostly small things like quiet hours and different colors for the LED....all things I can have with an app, but some things I would rather just be included.
But what I don't miss about CM7 was the battery usage. So far seems a lot better on this build so that alone makes up for the small stuff!

i dunno why..but i cant make the deodex zip to working because everytime is staying at M logo, i tryed 3 times now same result.
Leaked 2.3.4 GB is ok, the deodexed zip..dunno why is not working.
Tryed wipe cache, cache partition, all data, fixed sbf, no result.

Can i just ask why the changes quoted above? Do they somehow tie in with fixing the camera or is there some other reason?
It is because of the kernel change at least the EGL because the original 2.3.4 EGL cannot work with the older kernel. The sensors i dont know maybe the new sensor did not work with older kernel.
other thing I tried to get 720p playback and HW flash but failed(get the needed files from CM7 libOMX.TI.720P.Decoder.so libOMX.TI.720P.Encoder.so libOMX.TI.Video.Decoder.so libOMX.TI.Video.encoder.so libOMX_Core.so and the regarding files from DSP)

The camera app, need to be from froyo? I'm asking, because, the Gingerbread camera app have more functions then the froyo one, like face recognition, touch to focus and more...

i install 2.3.3 camera app with greenbread mod and works with some problems but photo take and video capture is works but sometimes freezes.I turn back foroyo camera app.
How did you get this worked? I have the Blurry Ginger 2.0 from JBoogies "home-forum" and the camera (green lense) dont work...I have to say only one word: AMAZING

I'm on 2.3.4 JBoogie3 Blurry Ginger 2.0, everything runs smooth and well, agps works, camera with green lense too
The video and camera quality is exactly the same on stock Froyo.

Yes it WORKS! Restore android backup, flash fixed.sbf, then apply this update.zip. Done
The battery life is not as good as 2.2 but a lot of BETTER than cm7 for me The battery for me is way better that CM7, they really need to work on it, atm i have 60% with 1day and 21hours
Which update zip? I thougt its all in the JBoogi V2 included... Please can you provide me with a linkt to the right update.zip ?
