Aboot has always been the biggest obstacle since the S3.I've been able to downgrade every aspect of the bootloader to the engineering release except for the aboot. Aboot is the biggest obstacle right now.

I think you are misunderstanding what he has said, at least from what I can see all he has posted was a picture of an oddity, with no claims of anything extraordinary (unless he has posted more since I read his thread)Well from what Adam is saying on g+ it sounds like he's getting close to something big. I'm not saying that is a bootloader unlock. But he's working on something that would hopefully let us either flash custom recoveries or kernels at the least. What else could it be... Trying to root lol.

I spoke with him yesterday when the over reaction started... he was suppose to update his post to make it clear what he was doing.seems to me to ask him.
* whether he thinks that has a chance at breaking
He just locked his post...his post didn't need editing per say.... people just didn't understand what secure boot really meant...I spoke with him yesterday when the over reaction started... he was suppose to update his post to make it clear what he was doing.

Sent from my SM-N900V using TapatalkSecure boot locks the hardware via Qualcomm's methods... hardware level. The challenge is now the Samsung Chain Of Trust.
What he commented on his g+ post.
That's what makes me believe he's working on something...

Guys, that picture he posted is mine from earlier in this thread. I contacted him when I discovered how to disable secureboot (albeit temporarily.) I've got a new theory of how to get past aboot. If you want to know more, just PM me or something, I'd be happy to explain everything I know, I'd just rather keep it quiet because obviously you can see what happens when things get blown out of proportion.Yeah. I was just saying it wasn't just Oh "look what I did." And nothing to come from it.

Please don't keep secrets lol I'm lurking trying to stay informed. People are excited about the progress being made or not made. Either way what's the benefit of radio silence when someone could come along, read up, and have something useful to add? Further more why did this get moved to general?Guys, that picture he posted is mine from earlier in this thread. I contacted him when I discovered how to disable secureboot (albeit temporarily.)
