Yes, if you SuperCID you can flash the firmware.

You could also add your cid to the android-info file also.

Hi, I had a problem
My device is htc sensation, s-off
I want to install latest Revolution ROM "Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) + Sense UI 3.6 + Beats Audio (HTC stable) ", in installing steps they wrote "3.33.401.x firmware is required", so I have downloaded the only one 3.33 "Firmware from 3.33.401.6 & 3.33.401.106 RUU", now I cannot booting up. if "PG58IMG.zip" file remain on sd card, it will try to update, otherwise I should select power down option.
so I have delete "PG58IMG.zip" and now it shows green HTC logo, and just a moment the splash screan, then restarts over and over....
If I put down vol down key, it goes to 4EXT recovery and I can access to sd card and other options

here is details on booting menu

after that, I've install revolution, but it does not boot up. what should I do?
EDIT: While installing 3.33.... ROM, it reboot after installing bootloader , when it want to install RPM, restarts and resume, but when I install 3.32 (NOW), it completed successfully and does not reboot while was in installing progress.

I have the same issue like you. Finally, what do you have done ? Have you installed ARHD 6.8.0 ? Which firmware ? Not 3.33 ? I don't have install superwipe and ARHD 6.8.0 yet, i would be sure i can continue installation ? Same screen like yours with clock work recovery says LOCKED, S-OFF, same HBOTT release and date, and i can navigate into Clock work recovery menus (after deleter the firwmare package file of course), but my htc reboot infinitly.

Solved by continuing the installation with superwipe and install ARHD 6.8.0! :laugh:

4ext recovery touch

First thing first I'd install 4ext recovery (so you get all options for install)
Then do a nand backup.
Then try flashing the rom with new firmware.

If wifi still doesn't work download alogcat and run it then try turning on wifi and alogcat will tell you what is wrong which can make it easier for us to attempt to fix

Ive installed the rom and problem persist. The thing is that I dont get the option to activate wifi. It is not that it gat active and do not search or find anything, It just that i can get it working

It has the same contents except it uses hboot 1.27 instead of 1.29.

I'm new to Sensation 4G, but already JuopunutBear S-OFF, HTC DEV Unlocked, SuperCID and SIM Unlocked. Will flashing any of these files modify anything about that (sim unlocked is the most important to me)?
I also would like to know which radio I have. I think it's 3.32 as I follow the youtube video.
Do I have to install a rom after flashing this?

It updates your radio, trust zones, and advanced digital signal processor. (all radio related). 3.32 roms run fine in 3.33fw

It will not mess with anything. Firmware updates are like a bios update on a pc
