I had to go back to CM7 since CM9 still needs much work nad the development on this seems dead...
Has anyone found a way yet to send/receive MMS without activating the 3G internet connection like any other non-Android phone does?
how it works in regular phone:
incoming/outbound MMS
auto-enable MMS apn connection
data transfer
auto-disable MMS apn connection
done
how it works in this u8160/80 Android CM7:
incoming/outbound MMS (without any kind of notification, just sits there until I open my Inbox)
have to manually enable data connection
all APN's are activated (MMS/Internet/etc)
MMS data transfer + unwanted internet data transfer (connection, updates, syncs, etc)
have to manually disable data connection
done and I get unwanted data charges from the unwanted data/internet apn connection
is there any way to fix tbis?
10 year old phones do this perfectly, there's no reason droid phones do such a lousy job at it
