Are you using vivid launcher?
Are you using a custom ROM?
Volume duck is working perfectly on all my MTC devices with android versions from 7 to 11..
@KoTiX2 the problem does it with the google maps voice and the phrases spoken by the tts engine (both google and vocalizer) if I use igo primo instead with the default voice not tts the audio is interrupted correctly ... Advice?

Do you set maps as default navi app?
If the problem is only with maps but iGO is ok then the problem is not NavRadio but something else.

@KoTiX2 yes,
should the radio volume be turned down or stopped when google maps is running? With the tts voice this does not happen, I have found that it does it even with the pre-installed app to listen to the radio while with other apps (poweramp spotify etc.) it works. What an oddity! could it hit the radio's pre-installed app?

On MTC devices you have the options in settings to mix the volume of Navi with other apps or to switch between them. You can also set how much to mix them.
I have no idea if there is anydifference between tts or default voice.
I'm sorry but i'm not expert on this subject;)

Version 2.42 is available:

- Fix for saving station lists and settings for Android 11(need to save new ones)
- Fixed station edit button that was pointing always to current station instead of selected one
- Added single click pause function in the middle of the screen ( probably I'll add a settings option for this)
- Fix for double dialogs Windows
- Added player buttons in notification drop down window
- Fixed Player buttons for CarLauncher
Thank you very much for the pause future. It ist really nice.
if you ever have time, including the key_media_playpause function would be great

Why would you need such a button?
By the strange coincidence, me too wanted to ask you about just that :) But my motivation is a bit different - I need to temporary mute the radio before saying "Ok, Google" for voice commands. Unfortunately the system doesn't do it itself, the only other solution I see is to add the radio app to the mutually exclusive list along with Google app. But this requires more steps to recover later and sometimes breaks notifications. I can mute all sounds with a button, but I won't hear the responses then. So I'd better just pause the music with a wheel button and unmute it later manually. Currently this works with YT Music but not with NavRadio.

How do I save the edited favorites list once the stations have been moved?
The FAVorites list is created as a mix of the stations in FM and AM lists.
Right now you can move the stations in the FAV list but it's not saved because when you change something in am or FM lists the Fav will change too and if you change something in FAV i should update FM or AM too, making it very hard to handle...
I'll see if I can sort this out in some way when I get back but I can't promise anything...

Thanks @KoTiX2 , so if I order the stations in the FM section, I find them moved in the same order also in FAV? I don't use the AM band

Yes it works, but in order to do it, I need to switch my attention from the road twice in the worst case (once to bring up the NavRadio back on screen and second to tap on logo). I would prefer just to press dedicated button on the steering wheel (a PAUSE key).

I'll fix the pause by steering wheels controls when I get back from vacations;)

Hello, has anyone been able to solve the audio signal dropouts (silence for approx. 2s) when the STereo signal drops out? I currently have MCU firmware MTCE_OLS 3.82. I also randomly tried the older version MCU MTCE_OLS 3.41 but still the same. It frustrates me so much...

You should post this in the custom MCU thread requesting a mod specifically for this issue

sorry but I don't understand. I have an MCE_LY_V3.52_1 device and I have the same problem of radio signal loss when, apparently, the Stereo (ST) signal is lost.
The problem is not caused by NavRadio or the original app.
It's a bug of MCU. So you should post it in an MCU thread

Hello, for the last few weeks I have been struggling with a strange problem regarding the GPS after starting the device.
Immediately after starting my device, Navradio+ automatically starts up and this message appears and regardless of whether I turn GPS service off and on, Navradio+ no longer shows GPS speed. The only way is to kill the Navradio+ app and restart then the GPS speed shows right away. It looks like some sort of race condition. I did a factory reset of the device and updated the rom to the latest version (I'm using Malaysk Rom), but this did nothing, the problem still occurs. I don't know if this is related to some parameter in the settings that I can switch. Maybe it would be possible to make Navradio+ slightly delay the request to access the GPS service on startup or make a retry after 1-2 seconds.

PS. temporarily I cannot check the exact model of chip, but I have an Isudar PX6 (Android 10) unit for a Ford Mondeo

Uhm... I'll see what i can do...

With full support for all MTC devices.

    SOME TIPS:
    TOGGLE SCREEN NORMAL/FULL:
    - Double Click on the station information toggle fullscreen on/off.

    NORMAL SCREEN:
    - Long press on the station information popup the "ADD Station" dialog window if the station is not in your station list. If it's already in your list, it will focus the relative station button.
    - Long press on a station button bring up the "EDIT Station" dialog window
    - Single press on screen arrows <> does a small frequency step fwd/back
    - Long Press on screen arrows does a quick search fwd/back

    FULLSCREEN MODE:
    - A Single press of the arrows <> switch to next/previous station
-A Long press on station information(center of the screen) bring up the "EDIT Station" dialog window.
    - In interface settings you can remove the big frequency in background if a logo is available.
    - In settings you can hide status bar, activate the clock and a speed gauge

    STEERING WHEELS CONTROLS:
    - The steering wheels commands act exactly in the same way as the fullscreen arrows, they just need to be setup in the correct way in carsettings application.

    FAVORITE LIST:
    - The FAV list is the result of merging FM and AM favorites, so you can have both frequencies in the same list.
    - FAV stations can be edited within the fav list but cannot be added. You need to be on fm or am list to add a station and set it to favs.
    - Deleting the FAV list will just remove the fav flag from the fm/am stations but will not delete them.
    - Deleting AM/FM list it will delete the FAV list too.

    LOGOS:
    - you can use your own station logos, you just need to know where you have them stored and browse for them when editing a station.
    - To get the stations Logos from the app you have to set the nationality of the logos in the interface menu, download and extract them.
Once they are extracted you have to edit each saved station to assign the logo image to it.
    - The automatic assignment of the Logos is based on the RDS id of the radio stations (pi code) and the search of the logo by RDS name.
The first method (by id) is faster and more precise but it needs that the name of the logo contain the picode of the station and for this purpose i renamed them for some of the available countries. Of course i cannot make them all and the functionality of this method depend of the availability of correctly named logo images for your country.
The second method (by name) is less accurate and it work comparing the RDS name with all available logos. If the rsult of the comparison is 100% correct the logo is autoamatically assigned. If the result are more then one logo, a dialog window popup asking you to choose it.

AF (Alternative Frequencies) handling: (Doubleclick to switch between stored AF)
AF service allows the radio tuner to tune in to an alternative frequency when the signal becomes too weak. The minimum level signal can be set in factory settings (Auto Search Stop) and has been found
that around 30 db is the best choice.
To improve even more this service I added an automatic storing of the alternative frequencies so that every time a new frequency is received, it's added in a list.
After an autoscan some radio stations can be found on different frequencies, NavRadio+ have an option (in Settings/radio) to automatically merge the frequencies in just one button populating the AF list
The frequencies available in this list can be selected using the station editor or switched one by one DOUBLECLICKING on the station button.

    NOTES:
I'm the only developer of the app and I work on it every single day for some hours a day.
I try my best to develope the app at best of my possibilities and I wish at evey release that it is bug and crash free.
This is very hard to achieve, even if I have some very good friends that help me testing it.
I'm really thankful to them for their help and support.

Thank everybody who beleive in my work and thanks for understanding. :)

Some more news for this week (the image should be self explanatory):
    x7TCQF9.png

Then there some more countries with automatic logos:
Belgium, Czech rep., France (tnx @Timpuli), Hungary, Croatia
Italian logos are still worked out and I'm waiting for friends to prepare the German and Spanish logos (they are really too many).
I'm fixing again Agama metadata for no RDS users and liveRDS.
Other minor bugs are fixed too.
Next week i'll concentrate on after sleep resuming and AF alternative frequencies.
    8
I uploaded on YouTube a small video showing the new upcoming Drag&Drop + Swipe feauters of NavRadio+

It's a demostration of the new new drag & drop and swipe features of NavRadio+, now you can
    - Easily Change order of the memorized stations.
    - Delete a station with swipe gesture.
    - Add an Alternative Frequency to a station by dragging.

    VIDEO HERE

Suggestions and comments are wellcome ;)
    8
Then please go ahead and write such app for yourself, if you think that it's so easy and cheap to do.

There's nothing wrong with asking some money for a good software. Things don't have to be for free and I'm pretty sure that @KoTiX2 so far put more hours of work into this project than it payd back, if you look at it at a monitary basis. There surely also is a lot of enthusiasm in this project.
