When I install the program for the first time, when I make an automatic search, it exits the program. It doesn't do an automatic search, it continues to search when you select the logo files and make an automatic search. After a while, exit the program or wait option appears. It continues when you say wait. That's how I managed to install the radios. You can see video

I was able to reproduce the problem :)
The issue started since version 2.22 and was always there (only on px3 of course) and it happen only at startup of the app.
Now i have to figure out what is causing it. ;)

EDIT: i found the problem! The fix will be out tomorrow with new 2.78 full version.

Hello. I found a bug. While loading radio channels, the program crashes while loading the logo of the radio named Kafa radio. Then I went into the logo file and deleted the head radio logo. The problem is fixed. You need to change the head radio png file in the Turkey logo zip file. I add new Kafa Radyo png

Hello, I've had some problems with my default Radio app on my head unit (autoseek doesn't work correctly). I like the visual and functional look of this app. Would it be compatible with my device? I'm attaching a screenshot of my device's properties.

Thanks

No, it's not compatible.
It's almost like s32f0 unit and it doesn't work well on it either.

Hello KoTiX

I use the NavRadio+ version.
It's a supper app.
But I still have a few questions (sorry for my English, I mainly use Google Translator).

1. Save new station
This is currently done via <Stations> => <Add station> => <Save>
My suggestion:
Long press (3s-4s) on the radio display and the station should then automatically be saved as a new station in the list, I find it more intuitive.

2. Automatic station search
I live near Frankfurt am Main in Germany
When I start the search, I get all 35 places with stations in the range from 88 MHz to 95 MHz.
Many of the saved stations are of very poor quality.
There is no longer any space for stations in the 95 – 108 MHz range.

Would it be possible to introduce a new item for the search sensitivity under <Settings> => <Radio>.
E.g. Very Good, Normal and All Stations?

3. Switching the station frequencies.
I recently drove a long distance (200 km).
I heard a station that has 3 frequencies.
I started with the first frequency, the reception was very good.
The radio did not switch to the alternative frequencies until the finish destination,
although the reception was very poor and was much better on the other frequencies.
I then had to manually switch to another frequency (vertical swipe on the display).

Why doesn't the tuner automatically switch to the better frequency - isn't that the point of RDS technology?
Can the bug be fixed in the next version?

Best regards
Joachim

Have a question regarding this app hopefully someone can answer.

I have a ts10 android head unit with a tda7708 radio module

Is the navradio an overlay or a replacement for the radio app? I can’t delete the core radio app don’t have access as it is showing as a system app. Also when setting up navradio it did update the core radio favorites and they both launch when listening to radio. if I close the core radio.APk radio stops until I press on the navradio app and it starts to play again. I would like to have navradio set as the primary radio but don’t know a way to do this. And if I was able to obtain root and delete the core radio.apk would this break the radio? I don’t want to delete it if it’s required hence why I am asking here to understand and get advice.

All radio apps are just a frontend of the radio hardware...
If you the TS10 it's enough to go in factory settings/ config and remove the flag to the radio option.
In this way the original app is disabled.
NavRadio will start and stop the radio hardware without needing the original app. Of course as it's another app, you will need to make a new autoscan and set your new stations list.
The only thing you will miss is the startup of the radio pressing the phisical radio button on the HU panel.
Exist also another app to assign the apps to the MODE button that i posted some time ago...

Okay this solved the original radio app. Now have a question regarding the onscreen media player. Navradio does update and the correct radio channel is shown but when clicked this still wants to navigate to the disabled radio app. And now throws up an error Com.tw.radio.activity.rad keeps stopping. Is there a way to redirect this to the navradio app.

No. You have to use a different Launcher.
what you call media player is just a widget that is part of that launcher made by the manufacturer (topway)

hello, it is not possible to set another language in your NavRadio+ application and also it is not possible to set the selected logo for the radio. Please tell me what needs to be done?
I am sending you a video of the problem and my configuration.
Hi, i'm aware of the language problem in the Appgallery version of NavRadio and i already uploaded the fix to Appgallery but Huawei takes 3-4 days to release it. Please be patience some more days...
About the logos, you need to use a different file manager.
TotalCommander is ok. I normally recommend on the PlayStore the app "Material Files" but i don't know if it's available in Russia.

Did you set read/write permissions to NavRadio?
    1
If you install NavRadio on your phone you'll see that it's just a problem of the kind of file manager or file permissions

After releasing my NavRadio+ for Allwinner and IntelSc9853 devices in december, i finally ported it successfully to MTC/HCT based devices (PX3, PX5. PX6, PX30, Snapdragon655).
I paste here the first post of my other thread as a presentation of my work:

I have been working since July 2019 this radio FM application originally created by Omega2008 (dipcore) from 4pda and I published it on playstore (with his permission of course) after some beta testing on allwinner and intel sc9853 units.

    SOME TIPS:
    TOGGLE SCREEN NORMAL/FULL:
    - Double Click on the station information toggle fullscreen on/off.

    NORMAL SCREEN:
    - Long press on the station information popup the "ADD Station" dialog window if the station is not in your station list. If it's already in your list, it will focus the relative station button.
    - Long press on a station button bring up the "EDIT Station" dialog window
    - Single press on screen arrows <> does a small frequency step fwd/back
    - Long Press on screen arrows does a quick search fwd/back

    FULLSCREEN MODE:
    - A Single press of the arrows <> switch to next/previous station
-A Long press on station information(center of the screen) bring up the "EDIT Station" dialog window.
    - In interface settings you can remove the big frequency in background if a logo is available.
    - In settings you can hide status bar, activate the clock and a speed gauge

    STEERING WHEELS CONTROLS:
    - The steering wheels commands act exactly in the same way as the fullscreen arrows, they just need to be setup in the correct way in carsettings application.

    FAVORITE LIST:
    - The FAV list is the result of merging FM and AM favorites, so you can have both frequencies in the same list.
    - FAV stations can be edited within the fav list but cannot be added. You need to be on fm or am list to add a station and set it to favs.
    - Deleting the FAV list will just remove the fav flag from the fm/am stations but will not delete them.
    - Deleting AM/FM list it will delete the FAV list too.

    LOGOS:
    - you can use your own station logos, you just need to know where you have them stored and browse for them when editing a station.
    - To get the stations Logos from the app you have to set the nationality of the logos in the interface menu, download and extract them.
Once they are extracted you have to edit each saved station to assign the logo image to it.
    - The automatic assignment of the Logos is based on the RDS id of the radio stations (pi code) and the search of the logo by RDS name.
The first method (by id) is faster and more precise but it needs that the name of the logo contain the picode of the station and for this purpose i renamed them for some of the available countries. Of course i cannot make them all and the functionality of this method depend of the availability of correctly named logo images for your country.
The second method (by name) is less accurate and it work comparing the RDS name with all available logos. If the rsult of the comparison is 100% correct the logo is autoamatically assigned. If the result are more then one logo, a dialog window popup asking you to choose it.

AF (Alternative Frequencies) handling: (Doubleclick to switch between stored AF)
AF service allows the radio tuner to tune in to an alternative frequency when the signal becomes too weak. The minimum level signal can be set in factory settings (Auto Search Stop) and has been found
that around 30 db is the best choice.
To improve even more this service I added an automatic storing of the alternative frequencies so that every time a new frequency is received, it's added in a list.
After an autoscan some radio stations can be found on different frequencies, NavRadio+ have an option (in Settings/radio) to automatically merge the frequencies in just one button populating the AF list
The frequencies available in this list can be selected using the station editor or switched one by one DOUBLECLICKING on the station button.

    NOTES:
I'm the only developer of the app and I work on it every single day for some hours a day.
I try my best to develope the app at best of my possibilities and I wish at evey release that it is bug and crash free.
This is very hard to achieve, even if I have some very good friends that help me testing it.
I'm really thankful to them for their help and support.

Thank everybody who beleive in my work and thanks for understanding. :)

Some more news for this week (the image should be self explanatory):
    x7TCQF9.png

Then there some more countries with automatic logos:
Belgium, Czech rep., France (tnx @Timpuli), Hungary, Croatia
Italian logos are still worked out and I'm waiting for friends to prepare the German and Spanish logos (they are really too many).
I'm fixing again Agama metadata for no RDS users and liveRDS.
Other minor bugs are fixed too.
Next week i'll concentrate on after sleep resuming and AF alternative frequencies.
    8
I uploaded on YouTube a small video showing the new upcoming Drag&Drop + Swipe feauters of NavRadio+

It's a demostration of the new new drag & drop and swipe features of NavRadio+, now you can
    - Easily Change order of the memorized stations.
    - Delete a station with swipe gesture.
    - Add an Alternative Frequency to a station by dragging.

    VIDEO HERE

Suggestions and comments are wellcome ;)
    8
Then please go ahead and write such app for yourself, if you think that it's so easy and cheap to do.

There's nothing wrong with asking some money for a good software. Things don't have to be for free and I'm pretty sure that @KoTiX2 so far put more hours of work into this project than it payd back, if you look at it at a monitary basis. There surely also is a lot of enthusiasm in this project.
