I bought this yesterday for my CC3 and it looks great after a quick play with it.

One issue so far though - I'm in the UK so downloaded the UK logo pack OK from within the app, but the extraction seemed to go on forever and not complete. In the end I copied the file to my USB stick and unzipped them on my PC, but was I just impatient? It must have been going to 10 minutes or so, as it was long enough to trigger the car going into power shutoff mode, is that usual? It's a shame there's no logo auto-assignment for the UK as it's a bit of a pain manually doing it.

Yep, i'm very sorry about it. Version 2.57 is actually broken.

there is a problem with Logo extraction and Dutch language.
they will be fixed tonight/tomorrow with v2.58.

Be sure you haven't enabled "live RDS"

Live RDS isn't enabled. The settings are what I had set prior to the firmware update. It looks like something fundemental changed that affects how the radio chip talks to the MCU (just my guess). My radio chip is the NXP6686 (TEF6686).

I'm in Southern California, and I think most stations transmit purely RDS on PS. Some will have the song name/artist scrolling there. What my radio used to do was take that scrolling PS text and put it in the field below the big frequency number/station name.

To summarize, RDS text DOES work, but only through PS. So if I decide to save the station with a name, all that shows on the screen is "KIIS FM" with no RDS text underneath. If I don't save and name a station, the PS text will scroll in the big frequency section.

Not sure how it all works really, but these are just my guesses.

Yes, you described perfectly the situation. in USA the RDS text field is almost unused by radio stations, just a few broadcast the text in that field and everything is sent in the PS filed.
I maybe remember wrong but if you set your region to USA NavRadio should automatically work like if live-rds is enabled and show continuously all the strings that change in PS field.
If it's not like that then just try to enable the liverds option.
To be sure that USA region is set correctly, navradio should show the callsign label in the stations buttons and you should be able to download the logos for California and all the other US states.
If you are from Mexico and you set south America as region, then you need to the use liverds option.

Also, after performing a frequency scan, the frequency warning remains on the screen until you close and open the program.

There is no problem in band assignment o OK, there is work with agama in version 2.58. When I press the main screen button on the unit, this warning started to appear all the time, although the main screen agama was selected, 2.57 did not exist

Are you using the app FytHwOneKey?
That warning is for.the BAND button, you should select NavRadio, not Agama!
I have no idea why it show you agama. That is just for the BAND/Radio button or any button that start the original radio app.

- fixed explicit intents
- fixed crash in pty logo assignment for USA/CANADA
- fixed bradcastreceiver not initiated before stopping it
- fixed crash when deleting a station and dialog is opened

- Band button switching now iclude also FAV list

That warning is for.the BAND button, you should select NavRadio, not Agama!
I have no idea why it show you agama. That is just for the BAND/Radio button or any button that start the original radio app.

There is no problem now, the frequency scan warning in the 2nd picture remains on the screen, keep that in mind, thanks

- added clock & temperature size and font change options
- fixed BAND switch to FAV only if favorites list is not empty
- fixed temperature visibility
- added NavRadio+ background wallpaper to presets
- revisited Ui settings

SOME TIPS AND GUIDES

- REMOVE ORIGINAL RADIO APP -​

There are some issues due to original radio app coexistance. To avoid these issues the best option is to remove the original radio app from the system using the FYT_Radio_REMOVER/RESTORER tool availabe here:

Extract the zip file on the root of a FAT32 USB disk so you have:
a folder "BACKUP_RADIO_APK"
a folder "lsec_updatesh"
a file "lsec6315update"
a file "lsec6316update"
a file "lsec6521update"

With unit powered up and android running, insert the USB and when prompted press "START".
This will reboot the unit and run some shell commands to rename the original radio app from "******_com.syu.radio.apk" into "*******_com.syu.radio.bak" so it will not be found by android.
You will see some linux commands scrolling and at the end you'll see a green text "update success!Pls remove device". Do it and the unit will reboot to android with radio disabled.
The script will also make copy of the original radio app on the USB in the folder "BACKUP_RADIO_APK" in case you need it in the future.

try a different usb port. Also make sure the files are unzipped into the root directory.
