You do realize that the Exynos situation is not as bad as you make it sound. CM is quite stable these days on Exynos devices. And as GPU goes the Mali 400 has a fully open source driver , not yet as mature as the closed sourced one but getting there. There is also an open source camera driver. I imagine the biggest issues would be with the GSM side of things.

Smart Dock

Anyone tried this out with the smart dock yet? I have the dock, just haven't gotten around to installing ubuntu yet. If I find the time, I'll be sure to post my results. I'm actually surprised there hasn't been more interest in getting the note 2 running ubuntu touch simply for the dock.

Creating an updated build, stuck on one part...

Creating an updated build, stuck on one part. Around this part of the tutorial I am unable to pull the files off of the Galaxy note 2.
Code:
cd device/samsung/n7100
./extract-files.sh
I set up GVFS to enable MTP support. I am stuck and I know it must be something simple. Any help is appriciated.

Just clone themuppets github, samsung repo.

I have build a new version already. T0lte is up. N7100 going to be uploaded tomorrow.
Btw: there aren't any noticeable changes yet
