Try Phh-aosp, it has a gapps and su, vainilla no su and something called "FLOSS" variants, I think gapps aren't needed to be flashed on some GSI's.

Install Instruction:
Flash this TWRP with treble support (thx to @GtrCraft)
Format /system, /data and /cache
Install this Lineage treble build
Install any GSI system image using TWRP (Install image -> choose your system.img -> select system partition)
Reboot



Known issues:

VoLTE stops to work after some reboots

im having problems with all treble based roms.
even just the Lineage OS rom with no GSI

play store crashes A LOT. like randomly.
contacts seem to sync, but dont show up in dialer or messaging or the contacts app which crashes constantly

half the GSIs i use give a vendor mismatch error

the treble twrp freezes up when using the external sdcard over MTP and occasionally when installing roms (ive tried multiple sdcards)

anybody else have of these problems? kinda seems like i have the wrong permissions somewhere, but ive wiped and reformatted everything twice lol.

also occasionally on reboot ill get a "sim card inserted please restart" message.

BTW i have the RETUS variant if that matters

PS id also like to know if there are new treble builds coming or if we can just use the lineage builds from vache?

yes you can..
i tried and its very buggy and unusable..
you should definitely wait...

Still has many errors the ROM P, I recommend you use another ROM GSI or normal

• Torch QS
• Moto actions crash when opened in settings
• Camera
• Fingerprint scanner

Is that going to get fixed when updating the GSI or each device developer has to make their own version with fixes?

you forgot to mention very major issue :
cant access internal or external storage.
reboot issues..

and some minor related to above issue:
cant save screenshots

I was using treble AOSP for a while and noticed issues:
- safetynet not passing, and safetynet fix was bootloping GSI
- Bluetooth voice over phone isn't transferred (hands free in a car is useless then)
- Moto Action also is crashing

I really enjoyed AOSP as pure Android experience but these issues are making my phone useless so far so I reverted to Dirty Unicorns (not treble) which is more stable atm

For those who want to try P, I've fixed the storage issue.
BUT I don't recommend anyone to go for P as of now.
BUT as I fixed it, I'm releasing this version to let you test P correctly if you're really interested in.

Instructions:
CREDIT : SHIV, MARTICHOU
NOT RECOMMENDED BUT STILL FOR INFORMATION AND TESTING PURPOSE:

1- Wipe system/cache/dalvik cache

2- flash MiUi by Henrique (I used 21/06 build) , no need to set it up.

3- Wipe data/dalvik cache/cahe/system

4- Flash DP3 gsi as system image (no DP4 for now)

5- Mount vendor and flash post GSI zips 1, 2 and Fingerprint fix by Kev

6- Mount Vendor again and flash Post GSI 3 zip

7- Flash AceKernel

7- Flash magisk 16.4 treble (important)

8- reboot

Note- On first boot , Device will power off automatically and go to recovery, don't worry , just reboot again and it will be fine this time.

After boot You have to install Google play services Version 12.8.74 (apkmirror) to get rid of those notifications. Install it via adb or by downloading apk file on ur phone or PC.

• Brightness is always highest.
• Other unknown issues maybe

Brightness will not increase nor decrease.It will either 100% or around 10-20%.

To reduce brightness to 10-20% approx use kernel adiutor , and turn on backlight dimmer from "screen" section. Slide the brightness bar and brightness will become low. You have to disable it again to use full brightness.

I really enjoyed AOSP as pure Android experience but these issues are making my phone useless so far so I reverted to Dirty Unicorns (not treble) which is more stable atm

Here the Universal Safetynet fix Revived is working with no problems at all in AOSP Treble.
