I've been using this ROM for 2 weeks now. And I've got to say, its been superb!

+ :
a) Smoothness (Almost buttery)
b) Google Now
c) More apps thanks to m2sd
d) Wifi , 3G, Bluetooth, Maps, GPS, Docking, USB Mass Storage, Camera (Photos), Gallery, Video playback and Audio - All work superbly.

a) Video recording does work - but is laggy. I am able to see the video in the gallery, but it plays back slowly and with lag.
b) When I press the time in the notification area, I get a crash. And the notification bar closes. It reopens after 10 seconds though.
c) USB Mass storage wasnt initially working for me. However, a reboot fixed the problem.
d) I dont use tethering, so havent tested that.


I am using this as my daily driver and I've had no problems to report. When I boot up, things are a lil slow, but I can live with that! One more thing is that Chrome runs too slowly in my phone. Too slow for comfort. I am using the default browser which is adequate for my browsing needs.

All in all, a fantastic ROM. Thanks vijendrahs! I am not sure if you will be posting any more updates to this thread though? Hoping for some positive news?:good:

I think my phone's WiFi and Bluetooth does not work with Android 4 ( ROMs such as :Jellybean 4.2 by Evervolv, update-CyanMobile-eXperience-N1-20121216-Release, MIUI_Enhanced_2.12.28_4.1, CM10 Jelly Bean 4.1.2 - v3.0 for N1, AOKP 4.1.2 Jelly Bean v2.1 for N1 ..)
But it works fine with Android 2.3.7 ( ROMs such as :HyperSense_Nova, MIUI v2.3.30, cm-7-20130101-NIGHTLY-passion, cm7kang-N1,..)
Sometimes my phone's WiFi and Bluetooth works fine with the MIUI 4 v2.12.28 ROM

That's awesome, that makes nexus 1and hd2 the longest lasting hardware ever. I bought my mom a nexus device sooo i can maintain it. A gnex.
I guess my point is,.....I wish Google would let HTC make all nexus devices (I'm an HTC fanboi and not ashamed to admit it).

Not sure whats wrong with my desktop

m2sd works fine on Evervol but not this rom. Wiped several times, even use fastboot erase but still couldn't get it to work. Keeps saying init.d is missing or outdated. Any idea how to fix this?

If you get m2sd from Google Play, it will automatically update the init.d file. Search for Mounts2sd in Play store

A2SD for now as default,
activate from Terminal Emulator (Y|N|Y)

open Terminal Emulator in the App Drawer on your phone and type:
su enter
a2sd install enter

then answer:
y enter
n enter
y enter

it will reboot

Ok, i have my wifi tether working on v3.0!
a patch is attached, flash from recovery. (just took some wifi tether related files from older version)

regarding A2SD...
i use a different script that i have begun using long time ago. it is called simple2ext and it has an app that exists also in the market. pretty easy to use and nice. again i attach it and need to be flashed with recovery.
i use the script with applications and dalvik cache enabled

Is S2E better than a2sd? As a long-time CM7 user, I switched from a2sd to S2E mostly because I didn't have to re-flash S2E (like dta2sd) on every ROM update. Since a2sd built-in to the JB ROMs, this isn't an issue. S2E has worked well for me. I wonder why a2sd is the symlinker of choice vs. S2E?

In general all are the same,
if it works, then no problem.

I am using Mounts2sd because it can move app library's on 4.2 Roms and that gives more space.

Let me repeat what I have already mentioned during the last build update, since there is no support here...

I would like to give one X-Mas build and stop further builds in this forum (Since there is no support nor much activity in this thread)
