CyanogenMod​

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

This Support of the CyanogenMod is Unofficial and the sources are up at Androidarmv6

Installation

- First time flashing CM10.2 to your Galaxy Mini(Tass) (or coming from another ROM)?

1. Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
2. Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
3. Do a Nandroid backup!
4. WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
5. Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
6. Optionally install the Google Addon

- Upgrading from CM7/CM9?

1. Do a Nandroid Backup!
2. WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
3. Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
4. Optionally install the Google Addon

- Upgrading from another CM10/CM10.1/CM10.2 prior to 20130816 Build?

1. Do a Nandroid Backup!
2. Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
3. Optionally restore /data from Nandroid Backup (the update will wipe your /data)
4. Optionally install the Google Addon

I do not own a Galaxy Mini. Its in Experimental version.. U cant use it in a daily basis.. Random reboots and RIL disfunctions.

My Review of this rom :
1. about performance i think it's fast maybe
2. the inferface is not very far change from 4.2, but the gradient background layout on settings is not smooth
3. there's no camera
4. the dial buttons is not resized
5. need developing :good:

but it's great i've been waiting for next build :highfive: :good: :good: :good: :good: :good: :good: :good:

camea can be added easily....you can do it urself
the gradient background smoothness should be fixed by completely disabling dithering
dial buttons can be resized

please mention important bugs like bluetooth,wifi,ril,camera...are they working....?
is there audio routing problem....?
i cant test the rom simply cause i cant download it

Its an initial build brother.. U cant expect everything working.

Thanks for this! I tested it. It was okay! I But I think Bluetooth is not working and SD card partition can't be detected as well. Looking forward for progress!

I can confirm SD card problem, I will try RIL but thanks to time zone, most of my "test contacts" are still sleeping.

More reports: RIL works, I had a call where both ends were fine, but proximity isn't turning the screen off. Another thing: It halfly has CRT. Screen starts getting darker like the normal screen off and then comes the CRT.

There are some changes needs to be done to be pushed to the androidarmv6 gerrit like the common fstab.. Keeping all the device config is breaking some makefile rules.. Have to fix them before making the gerrit
