Install User-GAPPS in my way, First PrebuilGmsCore, second GoogleSearchBox, and then GoogleLauncher and make it default launcher, don't choose system launcher. Cannot install your Gallery2, certificates.
Camera2 installed, works fine.
The former camera did HDR.
Might try the "real" ones but they have jni's that want Armv7.

Took one off the Xmas Gerrit ROM. It installed.
Not the stablest but works. Preset effects do not show their previews correctly but otherwise work if Gallery does not FC.
Similar problems with the original Gallery2 in cm-10.1 but worked fine in cm-10.2, editing did not work, showed blank screen in cm-11 which is why I changed over.

Gallery2 is cm 10.1.5 camera with exposure +5 and HDR.
This one has the camera included or still would use the camera2.apk?
BTW, has any tried the new Maps on these ROMs. It was unusable on cm10.*. Reverted to older version, worked fine.
Same for the Focal that is on Play ("not compatable" but can be sideloaded, does not crash because of Armv6). Reverted to Rashed's old Armv6 version (different video) which worked fine. Superior camera app if one can figure out all its doodads (no room for textual hints on our little screens).

That was what I have had all along. Worked nicely in 10.2.
Try the editing functions. It gave me a blank screen for that on cm11. The version (separate camera) from the cm11 ROM is, as I said, less than stable, presets do not preview (old Gallery2 this way on 10.1!), but most of them will apply to the photo if selected.
Using the previous build several days, has problems but good enough to keep.
Screen auto-brightness won't toggle, but other than that, excellent excellent rom. Using on p509 with oldbb libs.
Yes, this has already camera inbuilt, no need to install Camera 2 of Kitkat.

After flash rom on P506 and reboot then get stuck on welcome screen to choose language and can't go anywhere except emergency call.

thanks for making a separate thread.. is ART working? Can u specify the steps to use other touch recoveries to flash this rom, i mean modifying the updater script stuff.. better if u specify these steps in ur OP

Install GAPPSLight first and then UserGapps and thereafter install link2sd from google play

The installation is somewhat tiresome (installing ROM, then link2sd, then gradually adding apps), but I think we can't expect much better from a phone with so low system and data memory. Could be much better if this model had a few more MB of space to spare.
Coupling BT to car's media: it detects the device, but when trying to couple BT keeps turning on and off. I'll install catlog and grab a log for that behavior, maybe can be fixed.
[OT] [Christmas wish] I hope we get pretty soon a real touch recovery working soon, this cwm with hardware buttons really sucks. After using TWRP for long time it is really difficult to get used to cwm again.

How can one have "auto-brightness" on these devices? Needs front camera or some other sensor--don't have!!
