I installed rom seems sweet followed the steps to here I don`t know nothing about scripts so I`m lost at this step I cut and pasted it beow

After a successful boot, install Link2SD app (Link Here)and create "SDEXT4" mount script (dont reboot here), change settings to autolink apps and then reboot device into Recovery

Rom is laggy

I installed the two versions of rom after doing every wipe and formatting (i formatted also fat32 partition of sdcard) but the rom is very laggy (link2sd tooks more than 5 miutes to install). How can i have a responsive rom? For mukulsoni, can you make distinguishable rom zip putting in its name the date of build? Thanks

For those experiencing lag on this ROM, do you know the speed class of your sdcard? The setup requires heavily on the sdcard, so a slow sdcard may be cause of lag. You need a class 4 or higher.

everything seems to be loading and working normal
got just one more question might not be the right place but is it normal to not have a fastboot been doing everything from recovery board I don`t have the fastboot screen like I do on my htc raider goes straight to recovery and when I turn on debugging none of my adb commands work

You shouldn't see fastboot unless something's wrong. In any case, you use a different key combo to enter fastboot (I think it's Home+Vol up+Vol down+power). ADB works on mine, both in recovery or normal running mode. Check to see if your computer can even detect your phone (adb devices), you may need to check if drivers are installed properly.

Let's finish the new year hangover first bro... but very soon :D:beer:
When you get around to that, can you also include the build number and/or date in the zip name instead of just a generic cm-11-p500.zip? I keep several roms lying around and having build info on the zip names helps cut down confusion. :)

Happy New Year 2014, XDA! Here's to another year of great development for our immortal little p500s.

To enter in fastboot through hardkeys: Switch off device and press Home + Vol Up + Power and wait untill it show bootloader screen.
To enter in fastboot through recovery: go to advance and select in bootloader. :highfive:
For ADB: first you need to enable "Developer Option": Go to Settings>About Phone>Press continuously 7 times on "Build Number". Go back to settings and enable adb option there.
If you already enabled developer option then go to your pc device manager and install adb interface for your device. :good:

BTW guys I am working on Dec31 build and found it is more stable and smoother than Dec27, also linking Link2Sd dex files and cleaning up dalvik cache on reboot. I am trying to give gradient look of statusbar throughout the all system app and user app. Hopefully very soon upload it...:highfive:

Actually something changed in these nightlies. First time for everything.
How are lyou relinking the dex (I assume this is what you mean) files. My script to do this does not execute, probably due to selinux (can do it manually). How do you clean dalvik cache (is there a command line interface to link2sd?).

The relink was designed to avoid the type of catastrophe of updating dexes eating up all of data space, crash, bang. I cannot to a dalvik wipe flash with removing a whole bunch of larger-dexed apps. Also, I found that the symlinks were not respected and the updating ate data space anyway. So the only way to install is dirty.

Install User-GAPPS in my way, First PrebuilGmsCore, second GoogleSearchBox, and then GoogleLauncher and make it default launcher, don't choose system launcher. Open GoogleSearch app, enable it and go to Home Screen setting and enable Google Now... it will definitely work..:good:
follow step by step, but Google Search FC, Google launcher can't find Google search
