BTW guys I am working on Dec31 build and found it is more stable and smoother than Dec27, also linking Link2Sd hex files and cleaning up dalvik cache on reboot. I am trying to give gradient look of statusbar throughout the all system app and user app. Hopefully very soon upload it...:highfive:
Changelog (27 dec - 31 dec) ( http://review.androidarmv6.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-11.0,n,z ):

- Remove languages unsupported by SMALLER_FONT_FOOTPRINT
- fix some ldpi overlay
- Disable outdated LatinIME English dictionary
- Delete all autocomplete dicts except
- Camera HAL: workaround for QCOM legacy camera parameters on KitKat
- Update storage configuration & development settings
- Set default to MTP for usb config Merged
- Show notification dialog to choose USBMS/MTP/PTP mode if primary sdcard

Right?

u have set google launcher as home launcher right ???

in system settings > personalization > home
and selected launcher and not launcher3
select launcher, blue one
You have to know that after installed, Google launcher CAN'T RUN so you can't set it as default launcher. If you press Home button, don't display launchers to you choose, and don't exist "Home" in Settings/Personalization.

I solved the problem: uninstall Google launcher, reinstall it. Press Open when install complete, Google account will sign in, Google search will FC but Google Now still sign in successful. Return Home screen then set it as default launcher, enable Google Now. Done!

Actually something changed in these nightlies. First time for everything.
How are lyou relinking the dex (I assume this is what you mean) files. My script to do this does not execute, probably due to selinux (can do it manually). How do you clean dalvik cache (is there a command line interface to link2sd?).

The relink was designed to avoid the type of catastrophe of updating dexes eating up all of data space, crash, bang. I cannot to a dalvik wipe flash with removing a whole bunch of larger-dexed apps. Also, I found that the symlinks were not respected and the updating ate data space anyway. So the only way to install is dirty.
I am using SDEXT4 mount script and mine is FAT format as this is a 2GB Sdcard. In this script you dont need to relink manually dex (typo above). I never used this on any Kitkat ROM build before Dec27 infact always used on CM 10.xx versions. December 27 build has an bug which do not auto clean apps dalvik cache on reboot and therefore always android app upgradation on boot screen and after boot it occupy Data space. To clean Apps dalvik cache in Link2sd, wait to upload all apps there and then click on left menu and clean up the dalvik-cache. IMHO this is not selinux error, its working fine. :good: Personally I do not prefer dirty flash. Try clean flash of trimmed DEC31 rom and check, its working man...:highfive:

Thanks for finding the bug..:good:

Hey guys... I have just checked again this rom by flashing on my device and running smoothly. Please make a clean flash of ROM (format system (in mount and storage), wipe data/factory reset, wipe chache, clean dalvik (in advance menu). Also check the system space while booting or after successful boot (it should show 20.3MB free), this should be before flashing GAPPSLight. let me know if still facing problems.:highfive:

I found better than 4.1.:good:
Yes indeed. I did follow such procedure.
I also have about 20MB left for system after flashing the CM11 zip (nothing else flashed or installed yet).

Installation of Link2sd took 5 minutes. OC to 729Mhz and changing governor to On demand helps improve things a bit.

As someone up there saying that this rom needs a fast SDcard. It may make sense when installing apps to SD. However, with an empty phone (just after flashing the rom zip), the SD card shouldn't be a problem!

What kind of sorceress is this?

I don't understand how that works but indeed it works!
When I was dealing with a galaxy S on ICS, removing the sim card actually brought about smoothness. This is totally mad!!!

Anyway, I did a clean installation with an active sim card. SD card was also formatted in CWM recovery.
Now can't see SDEXT4 in Link2sd. Autolink option is also greyed out in Settings.

What should I do???

Indeed, insert an active sim card.

For the partitions in sdcard: I figured out that I needed 2 partitions on SD card.

However the CWM 6.0.4.6 Dec 26 (the one linked from your instruction post, post #1) doesn't have that option. It doesn't even have "fix permission" option!

Haha, I know the other method (I deal more with computers than phones).
Sadly there's no microSD adapter in the house. Otherwise I wouldn't moan :crying:
then you need to find older recovery and make sd partition there, Just toggle between recoveries ;)
EDit SEcond method:
You can do the second method without adapter, just install proper driver of device and your pc can read your sdcard through that.

OK.

Have been trying this ROM with its full fledge, everything has been great except 1 thing:
In Settings > more > mobile network > A pop up window would show up to choose between 3G and 2G

2G box is hidden and thus cannot be clicked.

Can you fix this, please? :D
