CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

As we got CM11.0 to beta-state fast, I decided to run weekly builds of it.

What are Weekly builds?
CM11.0 builds of the latest CyanogenMod sources from github, and latest armani-dev sources from GitHub so you always have latest CM features and fixes, and latest changes made by armani-dev.
New version will come out every week, most often during the weekends.

This is not a replacement for development thread. Post bugs there!

Original CM11 thread (xda): http://xdaforums.com/redmi-1s/orig-development/rom-unofficial-cyanogenmod-11-t2909757

all credits: armani-dev(fefifofum, Kra1o5)

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
 * Your warranty is now [STRIKE]void[/STRIKE] intact.
 * Xiaomi is one of the OEMs who allow rooting, etc.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 */

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit their Gerrit Code Review.

It was deleted by the moderators for being what they considered a 'duplicate thread', and it seems they don't want 'another' cm11 thread.

fixed using this method.
flash using TWRP Recovery then remove the battery about 1 min after flashing process finish.
pray
place the battery then turn on your phone.
wait until MI logo away and Cyanogen logo appear. (aproximately 5-15min at worst)

  • upstream derp; something related to msim
  • idk, seems upstream too. anything related to msim is upstream. know that msim is/was originally committed to CAF, iirc; with OEMs merging in those patches. CM merges these patches from CAF, so... can't say if they messed up, or we did. In any case, I don't face this bug (status: can't reproduce, won't fix.)
  • no, it isn't. it is the same as miui. If you are speaking about the speakers, I can't say much though. I (frankly speaking) don't like blaring speakers, and there have been not much commits affecting (in essence, decreasing) the speaker volume in armani-dev. There've been a few commits for improving/increasing the audio though (mainly, in-call audio). Most of these changes have been incorporated in CM11 RC6, and will be merged into the next weekly.

    Thanks :)

    This will be linked to, in the first post.

    I hope it is okay by you for weekly releases :)

    No, it's not. We are already two people (Kra1o5 and myself) building and publishing this rom. And as the devs, we decide when it's time to release a new build, according to the commits we are doing. I hope you'll understand.
