CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 */

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

This Support of the CyanogenMod is Unofficial and the sources are up at Androidarmv6

Respect man. You guys did a nice job.
But in the installation procedure you said we need a 3 Button combo - the ace only needs the home and start button to boot into the recovery.

well i test it and here is my feedback :

1-its a good enough for a first release
2-too much lags (thats normal for a first release)
3-no customize at all :(
4-not enough space :p
5- there is no smileys button in keyboard :'(
6-bluetooth will work after a reboot (camera not working :p )
7-cant add google account(need a google apps zip to flash
that i dont know where i can find one that fit with kitkat)

anyway thnx devs , waiting for the next release,
and back to cm9 :p cuz this release is not ready for daily use :/

cheers ;)

This ROM over all is smoother than CM10.1/2
Lockscreen glowpad animation is snappy. Apps open fast..
Also, camera is actually working. I installed Focal (the cyanogenmod one before it was removed since the play store one is "incompatible") and it can take pictures. It is a little slow, but to see it working partially is amazing
