[DEV][ROM][6.1.] CyanogenMod 12 - KonstaKANG (Android 5.0.2) [06/01/15]

Here's an early taste of Lollipop for Motorola Moto G. It is unofficial and unsupported by the CyanogenMod team. It's for advanced users only. I've only tested this on my retail xt1032 (with 4.4.2 bootloader/modem) - experience may vary on other variants.

Issues:

• many CyanogenMod features not yet implemented - it's still very early days of CM12
• SELinux is in permissive mode

Compared to official CM nightlies:

• FM radio works
• Wifi tethering works
• AudioFX works
• 3.4.105 kernel (no memory leak issue)
• Forward ported 4.4.2 kernel camera drivers and used 4.4.2 userspace camera libs (no camera freezes on devices with older KK bootloaders)
• Lollipop Adreno drivers (Adreno RenderScript doesn't work with KK blobs)
• KSM enabled & bigger zRAM
• Display color calibration option
• Navigation bar height option
• Status bar 'battery bar' battery style option
• Not-so-ugly browser app
• and more...

I'll be pushing the relevant device changes to upstream CyanogenMod. It would help if people could report if some of the official CM's known issues are present in this build (and vice versa).

How to install:

1. boot into ClockWorkMod recovery
2. backup and restore -> backup (create a nandroid backup of your current ROM)
3. mounts and storage -> format /system
4. wipe data and factory reset
5. install cm-12-xxxxxxxx-KonstaKANG-falcon.zip
6. install gapps-lp-xxxxxxxx-signed.zip
7. reboot now

FAQ:

Q: I can't find developer options and performance settings, why?
A: Settings -> About phone -> Click 'Build number' several times

Q: I don't have reboot options in power menu, why?
A: Settings -> Developer options -> Advanced reboot

What makes this different than anerik's build? Is this build your own personal fixes for the wifi hotspot and audio routing issues that persist? If so can you push them upstream?

As you say so, this ROM has own arrangements to solve the known problems with other ROMs

I am getting a weird page flipping on bootup, any idea why? I am coming from stock gpe lollipop, installed TWRP, and get the weird page flip there also. It only happens until I first turn the device off, then on. Then it clears up, but its also in the main UI also, not just bootup, something funky,

tested on xt1033 converted to GPE, both sims not detected, but it's solved with flashing donkeykang kernel (only sim 1 detected) but the wifi hotspot won't be turned on with donkeykang kernel...

Dual sim not working

does not work with GPE converted XT1033 devices, calls hang, no audio on calls, there is only one SIM in the slot but it shows that there are 2 SIMS in the Network indicator..

Take logcats. This problem is with all lollipop roms. Will help devs to fix it faster!
