Hey a quick Q.

Just installed fresh from latest build. Somehow android commander cannot see my phone, got any idea how that's possible?

things I tried:

Install busybox (even though im pretty sure it already is embedded in cm10)
Enable adb and tried adb over network
replace adb for CA with latest adb from 4.2.2 toolkit
enable/disable adb over network

There are two superuser apps installed on latest update (one in settings is not doing anything). Could be related?

Sorry if I post in wrong forum (could be AC on my pc), but if it should work on this rom I know where to look.

But good rom, been using it for a while now. Thanks!!! :victory:

Ok, so the abd I use on my pc is fine and up to date, should support 4.2.2 rsa authentication and runs, but doesnt find it.

The problem is in the kernel of this rom I think (maybe?).

Olddroid, any idea how I do get adb to work?

Thanks

guys, i will stop developing 4.2 ! :p

You want to know why?
because i started with marcin a project some days ago,
where we both built aosp 4.1.2 :highfive: (I refer this
time to myself and tell you, its kinda awesome ^^)
4.2 is too buggy for me and makes partially functions unusable!

Aswell marcin broken his gio nad will leave this device (he will help me anyway ^^)
So guys, basically i and marcin made a fully working and booting aosp 4.1.2,
have fun OD

PS: i wont stop pac and pa ^^

Great but why not cyanogenmod 10?
It has more functions than AOSP

basically we completely removed project butter!
because our devices doesnt support it anyway ^^ (deeper research gives malfunctions :p)
so we decided to remove it fully, but has better performance and stability as jb but a bit lower than ics :victory:

I know this question is asked too much but yet I will ask it..
Any ETA? Is the project actually alive? It's just that much time has passed since I've started waiting for the rom

i havent been keeping up with the gio android community and i wanted to update my rom
i believe i was using an old version of this rom

i noticed the gio community changed alot, and there's alot of discontinued roms and new roms
is this still the best rom out there or are there other roms i should be checking out instead?
(i'm planning to doing a full wipe)

This could have been the best rom. But it crashes after usage of 2 days in average. At least for my wifes gio. She gets a little bit frustrated with it. GUI gets slow and phone calls don't work then. Sometimes it reboots itself when trying to do s.th. in that state. Seems like a memory leak to me. But nevertheless this is the smoothest 10.1 rom for the gio I tried. Sad that it is discontinued.

But you can't say 50% CPU usage for netd seems right? Especially as it just happens sometimes, usually after using it for about an hour. And the phone runs much faster after killing netd (which basically seems to restarts it). Nothing stopped working, and it's still as stable as before.

I have been using this ROM as my daily since it came out, and it's as fast as I would expect from this phone, as long as I don't get the high CPU usage from netd. Would be interesting to known if I'm the only one getting this, or if it's common.

I get this too, the moment it happens deep sleep stops working, phone gets laggy and battery drains from 100 to 0 in 4 hours without use...

I don't get a download. Just ads. Plus I don't trust that rom because OldDroid warned in another thread. Thanks though for suggesting.

Edit: OldDroid if you find some time you may update this even you said you won't? Its by far the best rom for the gio.

    Based on androidarmv6's frameworks_base + packages_apps_Settings with a ton of new custom Features ;) (Reference: https://github.com/OD-ROM)

    Code:

     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android
community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from
another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also
    slowly being open-sourced anyway.
