I fixed the netd lag that causes most of the problems with lag after a few hours of use by setting permissions to 500,
or
x-x

file is located in root/system/bin
I had no problems with it and tested it for more than a week now (more than a week without extra restarting and no lag, woot woot). It still got stuck on it once, but that's whole lot better than 2 times a day
chances are that usb thetering might stop working
also, this worked for me, if it doesnt work for you or you **** up your OS, it's not my fault![]()
Really? Tried it and got two hangs today. My solution: Turn off Wifi when there's no known network in range.
That's strange. Why did he join the team? I remember a warning from OldDroid not to use Maclaws ROM. And why did Maclaw leave xda? Could anyone enlighten me please?Olddroid is now in Maclaw's team. (Maclaw left xda so maclaw.pl is the place to be)

Thanks for the answer. There must have been a reason for the permanent ban then. Teaming up with such doesn't make it easy for me to trust. He joined maclaws team to make a more stable cm, aosp roms. Maclaws team have made stable and almost bugless cm10.1. Maclaw has been permenently banned from xda and he doesnt want to join here again.
Maclaw HAS BEEN BANNED and he doesn't want to come back XDA because he thinks he doesn't need.I don't think Maclaw was banned, he just left by himself cause he didn't like how he was treated here.
Everyone (or almost) was blaming him for taking erikcas' and maybe others' sources without giving credit, while he claims not so.
I can only say that Maclaw studios' roms are good, and as an end user I actually don't give a f*ck whether anything is stolen or nog. Better a stable stolen rom than an unstable not-stolen one.
If I'm right marcin now does most of the work for the maclaw roms. Olddroid's GIO died and now he joined the team.
BTW: it's open source which disables the thrust factor. When you don't trust his build you can compile it yourself (though it's not as easy as downloading a zip).
I prefer a not stolen stable ROM
If the source was stolen and the rom is stable then the original will be stable too.
But thanks for the info.
I do not want to judge. I just make my own decision about whats right or wrong and whom I trust.
But let me say some words about this you can download and compile it yourself thing... Would anyone read all those lines of source code? No! Has it been proofed that even in open source products there were backdoors for intelligence agencies? Yes! So this isn't an argument... But like I said: its a matter of everyone's decision of whom to trust.
