Known issue?

When my defy is discharging it goes 30% to 19% directly o_O

And when I am charging it goes 89% to 100% directly (?)

Bug.

Try another build first
If problem resists, it's the issue of your battery.

Looks like theres life in the old CM7 yet, downloading now - will try cm10 again later.

Just one question, is it possible to succesfuly multiboot CM7 and CM10 ( defy builds)?
Yes it's possible, I've already tested it. But if the memory serves me well, only maniac's builds work in multiboot. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I was on the latest nighly from Epsy... now, I did jump to 12-set-12 Maniac, and have this problem of battery..

maybe , ¿¿¿I must go to Stock ROM and come back to Maniac..??

I did think what it's a known bug.

That "issue" has been 'known' for quite a long time yes. Some blame it on battery aging alone, but I personally believe that it is a mix of hardware/firmware problem. There are some "checkpoints" where the "real" battery levels are updated and corrected; hence the drops...

Heck, I just receive my second Defy (MB525) red lenses (3 hours after reading that Maniac would start building for MB526...dang! if I knew...) and guess what!?: I had drop (60%-->49%) after the very first full charge...

Hey devs
I m using defy+(bl6) and i have proximity sensor issues on all the roms having touch enabled bootmenu v2.0- beta. Roms i have used are cm10(25/08 & 12/09), cm7.2(21/09), PA, WIUI(2.3 stable).
On cm9(16/07), Moto Ice gun, and Stock rom i have no such problems

Is that proximity problem related to bootmenu

Im also suffering from this problem, the usual response is battery degredation - your battery must be old.
As im sometimes away from power for a while i have three batterys, battery 1 came with the phone, and the other two are less than 12 months old, all of them are official motorola batterys, and all of them exhibit the 30 to 19% battery drop with CM7, this problem presetns itself even with wiping the battery stats, both in recovery, and using the wipe battery stats app.

Ive also been trying CM10 for the last few days, and that does not have the problem, the battery level successfuly goes down from 30% 29%,28% and so on, on a nice level slope in the battery usuage menu, with no sudden drops
, however cm10 does have the problem of increasing lag as time goes on.
Im just about to go back to CM7, however as a test i will try a clean re-install, wipe /factory reset from recovery, then titanium to get the apps back, as opposed to the restore option from recovery.

Battery drop isn't related to reduced battery life. Just wrong battery stats I think...btw I am currently on white rabbit 1.7 ..no drops here..it is based on maniac's and fuzz's nightlies too

Wiping battery stats is totally unrelated to that issue (it only clears the battery usage statistics shown under 'About phone'), but removing the /data/battd directory may help.

Main change is 720p rec for red lense.
In defy+ hd rec enabled by default.
In defy build hd rec available too, but not in media_profiles.xml.
