yep, that is "screen on bug during call" for me that is only bug on cm7 (it seems that prox.sensor stop working at moment-sleep). i dont know what is a problem, but nobody know how to fix it, too bad. probably we must live with it all custom releases is based on cm7 but on normal defy works ok.
In my opinion don't is proximity bug, because the button lights on at the moment the proximity sensor is uncovered. May be bug on lcd or cpu driver or some incorrect parameter to defy+...

Someone can test "set min CPU Freq to 400mhz" to solve this bug? Developers, this bug can be relationed to "CPU frequence on call after off the screen"!!! Please check it!

Whitch option in the boot menu (overclock) is the frequence during a call? Or this setting is in kernel?

Edit 1: i used this config: 300:33 600:48 800:54 1000:58 without success. Someone can test too?

Edit 2: I'm testing (bootmenu) min cpu at 400mhz vsel 33 and interactive governor and until now success, without this bug!!!

The latest releases of CM10 are not very stable because of the new wifi drivers and other implementations. The most stable ones are 17.02 with 22.03 JellyX Kernel or 18.03. I'm using the 18.03 build, that seems to be very stable and fast, but of course, it will never be as fast as CM7 because the hardware limitations.
Disable hwa for all apps just leave hwa for system trebuched and systemui on and all lags are gone

it would be nice that more people test this. and ofc, if everything is ok, then some developer include in next release. does it works with undervolt, 400:20, 600:32,..... did you try?

I dont tried undervolt. I think only setting the cpu governor to "interactive" can solve this bug. Other people can test this solution to be sure.

The performance seems to have improved, thanks. But what about games, they do not need hardware acceleration?
using the brain is every time a good thing
just enable/disable things if you think you (don`t) need it - but check what happens if you dont do so

cm7 is a good rom near every thing works but cm10.1 rocks my defy and keep it alive

sry for offtopic

Strange Time/Date Bug

I was on cm-7-20130413-UNOFFICIAL-FINAL-jordan_plus-signed.zip for last one week. And I have noticed that whenever battery is removed from the phone, the Date/Time get reset to 2 Jan 1970 5:30AM. I again set the date/time and removed battery again and restarted. Again i found the date/time was reset. First i thought this must be some problem with CMOS battery or something similar as we have on our computers. I am not even sure if the phone has any such things.

So just for testing i flashed latest CM10.1 after a full wipe and removed battery. After starting the phone again the date/time was retained as it was before reboot. So I think this is some bug with this CM7 build itself. I flashed CM7 rom and re-checked multiple times. I every time this bug occurs but never on CM9 or CM10.

Edit: Does anybody know how to report this bug to maniac?? I am not sure if he is active on this forum

Just tested it on cm-7-20130413-UNOFFICIAL-FINAL-jordan-signed.zip (Defy, green lens; NOT Defy+):
1. Switched off, then removed battery, then restarted.
2. Remove battery without switching off, then restarted.
No issues, in both cases time and date were OK.
