i should be able to swing a few bones after xmas... i really like this tablet... other than HC,lol. and i honestly wouldnt mind HC so much if everything i wanted to use was compatible. chrome browser wont work, apex launcher... since HC is kind of a red head setpchild i think the imcompatibility list is gonna get bigger as time goes on.

have their been any petitions to htc to at least get it up to ICS?

it was only sold in the us, and was very expensive. the combination created a device that was hardly sold.
htc decided that the few of us who bought aren't important enough and neglected it.
you are both right.

I just picked up the Jetstream, I like the tablet, but lack of any rom above 3.1 makes it hard to love. I would be interested of this goes any farther. If not Jellybean, ICS would be great.

I'm sure he has. I'm in the same boat. There are no 4.0+ roms that I'm aware of. That is kind of the purpose of this thread. ;)

The first thread in development and general section at this forum is about getting JB to the jetstream. It will take a couple weeks till we have a JB Rom... But its in development already.

Wait... You do?!
I thought you were 24/7 plugged in to the matrix !
Morpheus liberated me =(

I know what you're thinking, 'cause right now I'm thinking the same thing. Actually, I've been thinking it ever since I got here: Why oh why didn't I take the BLUE pill?

Well, I've been using some JB tablets, and to be honest, I'm not impressed. I don't know if Sense is what's clicking it for me, but JB had me wanting more. In any case, what I'm trying to say is that I'd be happy with HC on the Jetstream if it worked properly; meaning:
*) OTG was NOT an issue,
*) MHL worked out of the box (or just worked)
*) we could actually use the unobtainable 16GB of internal storage that's just sitting there
*) we could use a touch protocol that would make touch emulation possible (using USB/BT Joystick Center)

As for the rest of HC's shortcomings, I could actually live with them if it means that I won't lose Sense, with all the hardware working properly. HC feels much tidier (that's probably HTC Sense, right?).
