I am on CM 7.1.0 RC1 - Tmobile G2

I too can confirm that USB Mass Storage does not work once the file is flashed through CWM. My workaround for this is to transfer files using CWM recovery, going to mounts and storage, then clicking on USB Mass Storage.

I also noticed the following issues:

1. Camera no longer works. I can open the camera app but no preview. When a picture is attempted to be captured the phone either freezes or I get a FC of the camera app.

2. WiFi calls no longer work properly. I get the icon that WiFi calling is connected but phone calls will not go through. I can receive calls through it but voice can't be heard on either end.

Not complaining, just thought I would make a post about it to see if maybe someone might have a solution. To me I would rather have the recording than not have the problems above.

i still cant really get this to work.
i flashed the cm zipped file using clockwork.
installed call recorder.
made a call to see what would happen.
once i finished the call, i just let my phone sit for a couple of seconds 2 let any processing of audio finish just in case there was any. opened up the app and nothing was listed on the screen. i can see the title, a refresh button, and a search button. nothing listed underneath that green bar. i do have the recording and use default player options with a check.
not too sure what 2 do.

Yes, on CM7 nightly I flashed the Pershoot Kernel anf it solved my problems. Works good now when in .wav format. Camera works and USB mass storage works. The only thing that doesn't work is wifi calling but that's because of the program not being setup for it.

I've recorded so much convo that this program saved my life.

I think its any nightly after #78 (not sure of the exact number.) First boot takes about 5 minutes on my phone and also I don't know if it matters if you're using a desire z or a vision. I'm on the Vision.

This is seriously the sweetest app ever! My only issue I'm having thus far is when it starts I completely lose the data connection. Does anyone know why? Or how to fix it. One other thing I noticed that isn't an an issue but slightly annoying is it constantly shows "granted super user permission" around 30 times a day even while the phone is just setting there doing nothing....clueless??

problem

Anyone who is interested in two-way call recording on Desire Z please see this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1048182.

UPDATE: fixed the updates and moved everything to this thread from DHD.
my desire z is on kernel 2.6.32.21, software 1.34.405.5 htc sense rooted and s-off.
flashed "update_vision_stock_2.zip" via clockwork mod this lead me to the bootloop (phone vibrates then you'll see the htc logo with white background then phone restarts and loops..)

then i got back into the recovery and restored rom.

any fix?

Well, I've got the same kernel, same software, and same problem. Phone is of course rooted and s-off, with HTC sense onboard too. I've also tried update_dz_2.zip from another thread. I didn't get bootloop then, but screen freezed with HTC logo and I had to remove battery. Any help will be much appreciated.

EDIT: Ok, I finally gave up on sunday, after re-trying update procedure for a few times. Today I've had some time again and I tried slightly different approach.

I've downloaded Vision-RunnyMede-Sense 3.5 and installed this ROM with ClockworkMod ROM Manager. It took a long, nervous while to reboot after that, but I ended up with brand new Gingerbread 2.3.5 with HTC Sense 3.5. Next step was flashing kernel to one, that has 2-way call recording built in. I did it using ClockworkMod ROM Manager again, this time in "recovery mode". After update and installing CallRecorder from Market everything works perfectly fine and all incoming and outgoing calls get saved on sd card.

Now I wait for all kinds of interesting calls worth recording and I hope this post will be helpful for anyone. Cheers.
