I see no software detection of anything in the source files.Yes I know it is different, but is the any indication of where to modify line detection?

Yeah i meant the snapping, is there a reason it cannot be changedAah, now I understand- you have the problem and you want to get rid of it?
If you meant snapping like in this video: I'll have to disappoint you- it is not changeable by the kernel driver.
Because the touchscreen driver chip itself sends wrong data.Yeah i meant the snapping, is there a reason it cannot be changed
Ah okay that's fine, thanks for having a look and clearing some things up for me.Because the touchscreen driver chip itself sends wrong data.
You can program some sort of prediction and alter the passed coordinates but first there is no core2duo/phenom2 inside your phone and second it is not kernel driver's business.
no! zzzzz ............one question though, i flashed tjis kernel after i had previously used the o1boost. does this make me lose my jit and hw?

which kernel did you flash?excuse me for my noob question, but if it doesnt alter the changes made by flashing o1boost why is it that my quadrant score drops to low 600s? before the phone scores in the mid 800s?
a little extra update , today was mu first full working day with the recently flashed phone (running stock ROM) and i have to say im rather impressed by the battery life. i was able to lose less than 10 percent of charge after a constant 2.5+ hours of music playing all the while running full internet connection (not in 2g mode) with my regular dose of apps running in the background and 3minute polling interval on social apps. even managed to download a couple of songs and did occasional web browsing. this is good!

Maybe the axis inversion is somehow also android related.
Multitouch is something new for linux.
but which kernel you recommended the most? im currently using mik os kernel though. but the touchscreen problem has not been fixed e.g when im playing pes, when i try to pass a ball or shoot while im moving the player with dpad, sometimes it is not responsive when we press A or B while moving the player.AFAIK mik_os' fix has something to do with msleep (not so sure) and added pressure sensitivity or something like that. Der_Caveman removed a lot of useless functions in the TS driver in the kernel. Both achieved the same goal: less CPU usage when touching the screen.
i will pm you later. currently the private messaging is temporary unavailableDer_Caveman's kernel. What exactly is the problem? If it's about the axes getting inverted, there's nothing we can do about it. For now.
Darktremor? PM me instead.
