Aah, now I understand- you have the problem and you want to get rid of it?

If you meant snapping like in this video: I'll have to disappoint you- it is not changeable by the kernel driver.

Yeah i meant the snapping, is there a reason it cannot be changed
Because the touchscreen driver chip itself sends wrong data.
You can program some sort of prediction and alter the passed coordinates but first there is no core2duo/phenom2 inside your phone and second it is not kernel driver's business.

Ah okay that's fine, thanks for having a look and clearing some things up for me.

flashed v3 last night and everything's workin fine. android status showed no signs of spikes when im touching or dragging the screen, processor usage played around the 40-60 percent range.

before this i used the o1boost kernel and when i touched the screen it spiked to ovet 90 percent at times.

one question though, i flashed tjis kernel after i had previously used the o1boost. does this make me lose my jit and hw?

thanks for the amazing work guys!

excuse me for my noob question, but if it doesnt alter the changes made by flashing o1boost why is it that my quadrant score drops to low 600s? before the phone scores in the mid 800s?

a little extra update , today was mu first full working day with the recently flashed phone (running stock ROM) and i have to say im rather impressed by the battery life. i was able to lose less than 10 percent of charge after a constant 2.5+ hours of music playing all the while running full internet connection (not in 2g mode) with my regular dose of apps running in the background and 3minute polling interval on social apps. even managed to download a couple of songs and did occasional web browsing. this is good!

another update, since the kernel is ocable i decided to fiddle with the cpu clock using the free overclocking widget. first i set the clock to 728 which i believe is the clock set in the megatron rom so i figure it should be safe, the results was impressive, it made the phone so snappy i made my mates envious. tonite i got itchy so i tried fiddling some more. its now been about 4 hours since i set the phone to run at 787 mhz and things are lookin good n stable including battery life. hmm i wonder will this phone run well at around 800 megz?

latest linpack score was 8.2
quadrant is still "only" 899 if that matters at all.

thanks for the replies mateys.

so which kernel should i flash? mik os kernel or dercaveman v.3 kernel, which kernel is better?

and will dercavemen v.3 kernel solved the problem in gaming pes 11 and fifa 10 when we try to press A and B while moving players with the dpad?

Maybe the axis inversion is somehow also android related.
Multitouch is something new for linux.
AFAIK mik_os' fix has something to do with msleep (not so sure) and added pressure sensitivity or something like that. Der_Caveman removed a lot of useless functions in the TS driver in the kernel. Both achieved the same goal: less CPU usage when touching the screen.
but which kernel you recommended the most? im currently using mik os kernel though. but the touchscreen problem has not been fixed e.g when im playing pes, when i try to pass a ball or shoot while im moving the player with dpad, sometimes it is not responsive when we press A or B while moving the player.

anyway kpbotbot im begging you please teach me how to use darktremor app2sd so i can move all my downloaded apps to my sd card. im using megatron rom, and 8gb class 4. i know this is out of topic question. but please help me :(
