I always dirty flash as it should be supported unless mentioned. However this is a 'proper' install on my device (no mods like gapps).
Gonna provide an update soon, without any changes. Only periodical rebuild. No time to port the camera fix from @rcstar6696 . Feels free to help

I'm currently running my Z3 and this ROM in my car. I'd like to set it up to auto power on at charge, I'm having no luck though. I've followed various guides, editing init.rc (through boot.img), and trying the disable-offline-charge via fastboot. None of these will work. Could anyone help me out?

Editing init.*.rc should be enough.
Link the 'charger' line to normal bootup.

Installing the June update

Hello Im trying to install the omni 2018-06-16 version but when I install the
twrp_z3_O_2018-06-16 .img
through fastboot I cant boot into recovery, it just boots back inte "normal mode". Any Ideas why?

Please send the install log (/tmp/recovery.log into twrp) after installing the rom zip
Edit : +logcat + radio logcat when boot and sim unlock is over:
adb logcat -d > logcat.log
adb logcat -b radio > radio.logcat.log

TWRP has nothing to do with the rom.
Did you install the recommended twrp?

Sometimes for gapps you have to downgrade twrp.

Just to be sure:

Did you press the buttons when your phone was turned off?
And you must press the buttons for a few seconds and hold them until the twrp logo comes.

I did. Result is same.
And then i downloaded "Root Checker" from Play Store, it says that my device is non rooted.

I was using rooted MM 6.0.1.
I installed each program that in topic. After i flashed omni rom 8.1, flashed superuser zip. Despite this, my device ain't rooted.

installed twrp 3.0.1 before i rooted 6.0.1
Then i've installed this rom (Omni 8.1) through Twrp.

You can root via patching the boot image of the rom (with the mentioned magisk).
For this method you don't need twrp or a rooted rom. Look at the magisk thread on xda.
