devauthsig.bat, plus the error after flashing

I tried flashing Ingenetics 318 original ROM, and I got this funky error about my device not being authorized, contact my support people.

Well, you guys are my only support people. I reflashed with a known working, so this isn't urgent, but if this happened to me it'll happen again. It might be nice to give something to the unsuspecting new flasher to actually find when they search, not just the forum, the whole freaking internet. (Really, I looked hard.)

Anyone know what this batch file is, what it does? Can I use the ROM without digging thru each bin file to find out that's not what I'm looking for? I'm hoping someone can give me an answer b4 I spend way too much OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) time trying to figure it out on my own. Don't get me wrong, I like puzzles, but I don't know what I'm in for.

The original dumped rom won't work as security wasn't removed from it. Someone made a base rom from it, or there are several other cooked roms or kitchens available that use it.

The batch file is just a security measure. You wont find much info because that mysterious ingenetics thread was removed. Im using my own stripped ingenetics rom, from memory I removed the devauthsig.dat folder as well as any references to dogfood. I dont have access to the specifics of what i removed exactly at this point in time. I might edit this post later with the specifics of what I removed when I get a sec to check.
