I just had my DX replaced with a DX2 by Verizon as a warranty replacement. I've used several ROMs, Mods, and hacks on my DX.
As a new owner wanting to get the most out of the DX2, it has been a challenge to wade through all on the old posts. I am currently running the Eclipse ROM and it is heads and shoulders better than stock. I think that it would be helpful to new owners if most of the stickies were replaced or revised as all new phones come with Gingerbread. The one click root method works perfectly, as does the Gingerbread sbf, and the modified Chinese CWM apk. IMO there is no reason to sticky threads that discuss froyo sbf, Gingerbreak, 3 step root, etc.
Filtering out of the newbie stickies would save others quite a bit if time.
