So I got my nexus 6 this morning, and as I've been using it, I've noticed it gets hot, not warm, I mean hot, I placed it screen down on my bare tummy, and it burnt :\ I've never had a phone do that before, I've left it off, unplugged for now to cool down. Anyone else having this problem?

I've had it happen with my old Motorola Atrix 4G after installing a new ROM, and going through installing apps and such. It's not entirely uncommon, but it can be a little jarring. Seems like it's most likely to happen when there's a lot of stuff going on at once. Kinda like getting the new phone, getting all the apps you used to use, updating existing ones, etc... all at once. lol

Install a CPU monitor and see what its running at. Also check the battery temperature and let us know because mine is usually cool even when I run a benchmark at 2.9ghz

it will get hot when plugged in, no matter what. have you checked to see how much voltage is going through the charger? it much more than on any other charger that ive ever owned.
