Hi,

What recovery do you have?
If you have 4 EXT ,then , try using smartflash to install a STOCK ROM
Choose the correct one for your phone.

If not ,look HERE , and install 4 EXT

:)

When i try the 4 EXT i get this error:
sending 'recovery' (16383 KB)... OKAY [ 3.408s]
writing 'recovery'... INFOsignature checking...
FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)
finished. total time: 7.410s

Is there not a way to change the cid or something?
Also if i use ADB command i get this error"
adb server is out of date. killing...
* daemon started successfully *
error: device not found

Three questions.
S-ON or S-OFF?
ROM?
HTCDev Unlock?
Malybru is right to ask you to use SmartFlash, but we need to establish if you're still S-ON and if you're still using stock.

S-ON

HTCDEV Unlock gives a error that the file is not valid

I just need to verify this.
In other words, your phone is 100% stock. Not rooted, and not modified in any way?

If yes, this is why you cannot use fastboot. Your phone needs to be either S-OFF or you need to use HTCDev Unlock.
To achieve S-OFF, follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661631

You know what I mean! He can't use fastboot to flash or erase anything. For diagnostics information, yes of course it'll work.
He could probably get away with fastboot rebootRUU to flash a recovery but he won't get far.

The RUU update is running at this moment. No idea why it runs now. Yesterday it did give a error that the RUU file was older then the main version.
I hope it will boot when it is done.

You can flash an RUU with the same ROM/HBOOT as you have installed, or a higher version. It's to stop a customer from bricking his or her phone.

Hi,

If you have a completely stock ,unrooted , locked phone ,then, why not send it back to where you bought it?

:)

DON'T TOUCH THE DEVICE OR UNPLUG WHILE TEMP ROOTING FOR JB SOFF!
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
error: device not found
error: device not found
error: device not found

REBOOT
error: device not found
error: protocol fault (no status)
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
error: device not found
AGAIN REBOOT
error: device not found
error: protocol fault (no status)
NOW IS THE TIME TO RUN THE CONTROL BEAR AKA JUOPUNUTBEAR
--------NOW YOU DEVICE WILL HAVE ONLY STATUS BAR ON TOP
-----------PLEASE DONT TOUCH THE DEVICE AS UI IS UNSTABLE-------------
_____JUST RUN THE CONTROLBEAR AFTER THE DEVICE REBOOTED______

Apologies, you need to have your phone booted into Android for that to work.
As Malybru said, if you've not had the phone long. You can return it. Are you still under warranty?

If not, we can attempt to correct this.
