DeX Pad and adb

Hi.

When I dock my phone in the DeX Pad and plug a cable connecting the DeX Pad's USB-C port with a computer's USB-A port, adb doesn't list my phone as an available device.

Any ideas on how to get adb working with the DeX Pad when my phone is docked?
