Hi and many thx for this great offer! I'm really not good in graphic design and I need a logo for my FWUL project (an adb/fastboot ISO - [F]orget [W]indows se [L]inux).

Project link:
https://tinyurl.com/FWULatXDA

Based on the Arch Linux distribution, Forget Windows Use Linux is a USB-bootable GNU/Linux distribution meant to help transition Android-tinkering Windows users into a GNU/Linux environment. No longer will you have to suffer from driver issues on Windows or scramble to download the right tools on another USB-bootable GNU/Linux distro. With FWUL, everything you need is right there at your fingertips. Your Android phone will be recognized effortlessly by your computer in FWUL, and all of the possible tools you would ever need to interact with your smartphone – no matter which brand – are already pre-installed.

Hey I saw you featured on the portal.... I am just an enthusiast beginner ROM builder. Here is my project.... ULTRA LEAN ROM

I did try making a few logos, but I did not have anything specific in mind. If you could please give a few designs with either the ROM initial's (eg. UL or Ultra Lean) on a white background with black text or designs. I will attach one which I tried making along with the tagline.

My aim for the project is to keep the ROM as light and snappy as possible with optimizations. More like a Lean and clean ROM.

Cheers :cowboy:
Hi there, please select the one design you like? (if any)

I just started to help! yeah, maybe it will help for my *career too.
Absolutely! It's always a good thing to have examples for your work plus the experience you will get by communicating to find out the needs of the requesters!!!!! Which can be the most difficult part tbh... ;)

Yes you are right. I am learning so much and can put all this as my experience/portfolio if needed.

wow dude.. that was amazing fast!!! .... and a VERY nice idea to put the linux penguin within a window ;) I really like your playing with the symbols here! u are very creative ;)

I would like to see some simple modifications though:
First I would like to see the window glass in a dark green (not tooo dark..) instead of the current blue .
and the text looks...hm. sorry for the word but.. boring .. maybe another font which is more modern? ... hm what do you think about those?
http://www.1001freefonts.com/monoglyceride.font
http://www.1001freefonts.com/mr_sunshine.font
http://www.1001freefonts.com/stick_kick.font
http://www.1001freefonts.com/qraxy.font
http://www.1001freefonts.com/most_wasted.font
http://www.1001freefonts.com/life_is_goofy.font
or do you have another idea maybe? some of the above are very extreme and i dunno if they fit to the clean design though..

.. and could you tune the reflection within the window a little bit? I'm not sure how though... but I feel they look not real in my eyes but maybe its only an issue of mine.. :cyclops:

a last quick one: the background should be transparent if possible.

color: green
background: transparent
reflections: I am playing with them. Made them really subtle using gradients. The last big logo has flat reflections. Hope you find the best one? if you need any changes then ask. I will be glad to help you!

UPDATE:
heres my suggestion (red color)? p.s. reflections fixed (maybe)?

great :)

ok so first: numbering the drafts would help a lot when talking ;) but I will try it with a screenshot puzzle (see attachment). I like that font plus the tagged full line from your last draft like I puzzled together in that attached pic. Leave the reflections like that. The reflections in the updated draft (with the red colors) are more logic then before but I feel still not fine with them. So keeping them like in my pic should be fine.

Could you make the green more like this please?
https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u...ssic-wallpapers/olivegreen_shade_1024.jpg&f=1

and please remove the grey background above the tux (arrow in the attached pic)

thx again!

Hey, this is a very cool thing to do! :D

Normally I roll my own graphics, but I've been too busy coding to get a copy of photoshop and go that route yet.

My project is "Phlex". It's a web app you install on a server at home, that then communicates with Plex, Couchpotato, Sonarr, Radarr, Sickrage... via google Home/assistant to control...everything those apps can do. :D

So, the logo I'm using currently is just something I grabbed from Google Photos when I searched for "flex logo", and I'd really like a replacement that is similar, but not *that* image and also adheres to material design specifications. So, basically, flat-ish main image similar to what it is now, plus the fun little material shadows and whatever could come to mind. :D

Current project is here:
