Hello, I also had a brick problem. I managed to flash the firmware of 270916 then the OTAs until the last of April 28th. All works fine, Halo keyboard, wifi etc but the problem is that tablet no longer recognizes the sim card! Om settings the Sim option are greyed. Any help?
Sounds like something is in-compatible with what you flashed. Did you flash the right model version of the firmware? Because there's two versions of the Yoga Book; one with only Wi-Fi and one with Wi-Fi and Cellular data options. If you flashed the Wi-Fi version you will most certainly not be able to use the Sim Card slot.

Well it's not so much about Android not knowing you have a Sim Card slot or not... it's more to do with the drivers that would come with the right version of the OEM ROM for your Sim Card slot. So when you first flashed the firmware after the brick, did you flash the YB1-X90F or YB1-X90L version?

It's that, or maybe one of the most recent updates of the OTA firmware upgrades is in-compatible with the device. It's possible that Lenovo may have broken something. So if you're unsure whether you flashed the right ROM with the correct drivers, possibly try to revert back to a previous update. Then see if the Sim Card is being detected.

I've flashed "YB1-X90L_USR_S000155_1609272258_WW06_BP_ROW-flashfiles" with intel platform flash tool lite 5.8.3.0.
While flashing firmware whit flash.json I've got an error: failed to flash oemvars bootloader_policy-oemvars.txt
so I canceled this from flash.json
{
"args": "flash oemvars ${bootloader_policy-oemvars}",
"description": "Initialize the bootloader policy",
"mandatory": true,
"precondition": {
"description": "Check battery level: ${battery}mV",
"expression": "${battery} >= 3500",
"skipOnFailure": false
},

The sim error is present in all firmware from the first to the latest

Lenovo Yoga Tab 3

:crying: My device boots in CHERRYVIEW D1 PALTFORM/INTEL (CHTTYETI.X64************) ((something like Windows BIOS??)

And that all.

I tried Platform Flash Tool Lite but missing flash.xml file. but even I am not sure it will work...

any advice or other solution please....
I did not do anything like that, no root, no custom ROM, but my Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 restarted in the CHERRYVIEW platform while I was watching a video. Does this mean something broke, or is there a way to boot back?
Again no root, just stock software. Could be because of the cold outside?
