Did I ruin my phone?

I flashed a kernel.zip, then hit reboot. Now all my screen does is blink. I can't power off, or enter recovery. Did I just screw myself?

Unplug phone. Power and volume up for ten seconds. Let go of both. Power and volume down to enter bootloader.

The only thing that works is Power and Up. That takes me to the HTC screen for about 5 seconds, but I can't enter bootloader.

I hold power & down right after the HTC screen pops up, but it never boots into bootloader, the screen just starts blinking again. I've held power and down for 1 minute straight, nothing happens.

That is not right. Unplug phone. Get phone turned on then start procedure. Vol up and power for exactly 10 sec. Let go of both. Vol down and power for bootloader. Usually about 3sec. If it didn't work try again. Screen will turn off at 9 sec. 10 sec exactly.

Fixed, my timing was off, that's why it wasn't working. Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated.
