No regrets, just that I'll go to iOS in October. I hope iphone 8 will have the design from the leaks.
I came from the V20 and the experience is night and day....the only thing I miss about the V20 is the DAC and the finger print sensor location.I actually returned mine for a v20. Had to go with my gut on the chances of the tmobile bootloader being unlocked. If I cant root it I don't want it .
Must be isolated......I have had zero issues while being on call and using my data without all the hoopla that you go throughI certainly regret it and actually went back to my note3. I miss having the ability to be on a call and have data, I miss the root ability, I miss not being able to automate my hotspot when I enter my car (I have an android head unit that needs data). So each time I need to go through the rigmarole of turning off data, turning on hotspot, turning data back on and hoping it works before I can even drive my car if I want my head unit in my car to be able to stream audio or use waze. i also miss not having xposed and my youtube playback when it isn't the focused app. Overall it is now a paperweight until I can root it.
DaveSprint does not currently support simultaneous data and voice while on the Sprint network, though it is possible if a WiFi connection is available.
if that pic is true then i need more. These are the bands the phone says it supports.
agreed. think the price-tag was a tad steep and it does feel (performance wise) more of an incremental upgrade to the s7. they should have given the plus 6gb as standard ...Don't think I regret it, but the only reason I switched from my iPhone 6S Plus is because I was bored.
Usability and speed (Other than the occasional Android lag) is about the same for my use. (Emails, messaging and like 1 game, FateGO)
So I feel like the money I paid for what I gained isn't exactly proportionate, but it's been a while since I used Android as my main phone, so I decided to jump back for a bit. it's been good.
Having to worry about screen protectors that fit my case is dumb tho.
Also smart unlock with my Bluetooth headphones makes up for the fingerprint scanner being on the back of android phones.
The battery will be a lot better after a while, at least for me the battery life increased a lot since i got the phone.Well ......
I own the device for about a week and I have to say that it covers almost all of my needs but:
1. The battery life is worse than the S7 Edge or 1+3T (at least for me)
2. S8+ feels a little bit boring after a while
Overall, I didn't regret at all since it is nearly perfect
