Difference between Android Development and Original Development

If I remember correctly, the only difference is that things in Original Development have been built from scratch.
Whereas in Android Development they've started the build of a base of something else.

That's what i thought too, but then i found roms that are in both sections (eg. CNA), and i got confused, why don't we just have one dev section rather than two? it only make things more confusing and harder to find.

I've seen other cases of the same ROM posted in both and I just think "WTF!?!".

I'm not sure on the reasons behind the addition of Original Development, but people must've asked for a split so they got it. I very much doubt they'd change it back now though. Not unless it was for a very very good reason.
