Hi I'm new here..so please forgive me for this noob question..

im using a stock rom 2.3.4 on my ace with baseband s5830DXKPD.

just wanna ask whats the difference between DXKPD and DXKPB??

I wanted to flash my ace with BehradGH's CM7 mod, but wanna make sure if theres no compatibility issues regarding baseband versions.

tnx in advance..:D

I upgrade to CM7 Grif_07 from DXKPD, in tutorial DXKPB is recommended, but so far CM7 works fine in my SGA. I've also tried BehgradGH before, no problems. Have a nice fllash! :)

IMO, DXKPD is newer than DXKPB, in alphabetical sequence, last letters of the code, if you notice, and do not worry, Samsung fully supports the modding community, so don't worry about modifying your phone.

Samsung doesn't unless I missed the news where they started doing Sony like support.
