I didn't try root and there is no support for it. But I don't mind after playing with over 50 china phones and flashing roms on them and releasing adjusted china roms on Modaco forum and elsewhere.
The only software I have found by now is a generic unbrick rom:

Google apps can be easily installed through Google Installer v2 apk

I don't care if you can't root as long as you can change the rom or debloat this, but seems like there's NOTHING on xda, not a single tool or rom for it, that's why.

P.S. Also debloater is not working for X727 as far as I know, so you have to stick with the chinese bloat, and just use nova launcher.

You can debloat most of the China stuff in EUI, like:

- Turn off that video service screen on the left of Home screen
- Settings, app management, Installed apps - Uninstall
- Phone manager, App warehouse, Disable
- You can disable notifications for some apps, like calendar

It isn't a proper debloating but it moves china apps from the sight.

@dakok Let us know how it works... apparently nobody owns it so for now it does not have any community support. I don't know if it comes with gapps, but I think it's now on EUI 26s.

720 international, can be 4gb or 6gb ram, bootloader unlockable
727 usa version, only 4gb ram, locked bootloader, additional frequency band for US.
Rest of the hardware same, AFAIK

Guys, if there is information that LTE B20 is supported by this phone, I`m sure that it`s X720 version? I`m not asking about X722 with B20, but about Snapdragon 821 version.
    Thanks!
Yes, but only the x720, the x727 hasn't got B20

The release has worked with me with version 20S, I got my phone from banggood. It may also be that the release with version 26S no longer works.
Go as with an ordinary pro 3 x720. TWRP which I have used, I have already linked up.
For root you just take the latest Magisk, first .zip, then start and the Magisk manager as apk instatieren.
Modrooms are not available at the moment.

Thanks for that. Will look for a guide.. Is it the same process as the others?

Also I'm not a noob to flashing but there are so many kinds of this phone.. It gets confusing can you tell me if there are custom roms for this phone?

Can you change nl-hos modem between x720 and x727 to gain B20 on X727?

Supported bands are written into the NVRAM of the phone they aren't part of the actual modem driver (however the modem driver needs to support them). There are threads on XDA on editing the NVRAM to try and unlock additional bands with varying levels of success.
